Hey DK, did you know that Fran in Japanese is voiced by the actress that does Sailor Venus (The Orange One) from Sailor Moon, Rica Fukami? And that Ashe's seiyuu Mie Sonozaki also does Jihl Nabaat from FF13, Crimson Viper from Street Fighter, and Nozomi from Shin Megami Tensei 4.

Taking stuff out of the trial mode will make things easier if you let it but being able to go in and out of trial mode also gives you a proper use for all those uber weapons.

@@beauwaddle Ya there was a lot of freedom in the game. It's sadly been sitting in my steam library...too many games. The awesome thing about the remasters of old FF games is the speed up option. Grinding at 2x or 4x speed is too good.

It's a sort of deal yes, you have to put out stuff (namely reviews and such) for early access. It isn't as shiny and nice as it seems because it's a lot of work and you have to rush games a lot.

Not really, I mean I got the game today and I live in Europe so unless there are countries outside Europe and NA that get it first, I don't think it differs by regions. I even pre-ordered the Collector's edition and got updates on when I'd get it so you'd think that if they were going to send any out early, it would be the CE.

Nothing important that I can remember is missable. There are a couple of sidequests, and a better reward from one sidequest, but all of the rewards from those aren't important.

If you think some of the changes make the game easier, you could always limit yourself to play as you want to. If you have to pick two job classes, maybe have it so you can only unlock certain things on the board, maybe you can limit yourself to one job if you refuse to pick the second one. I don't know when you get to pick the second one but when you go through the tutorial with Vaan, he's only allowed to choose one at first so maybe you can pick one and be done with it.

I had played the original English version of this on PS2 but did not complete many side quests and hunts as it felt tedious back then, right now was trying to decide between PS Vita and PSTV with Persona 4 Golden as the priority before getting more games including FFXII on PS4 with the difficulty of finding a PSTV in stock without some controller problem.

according to FF wiki...When hunting Yiazmat...his health is still 50+ mil...Square made him MUCH easier in the trial mode (in the Zodiac Age version)

I think FFXII is my favourite FF game with FFIV and FFIX a close second the hunts are the bread and butter of this game and I can't get enough of it, I can't wait to fight the five judges in 60fps HD and have Ashe's ass handed to me... ;-).

Oh and about asses in FFXII ... FRAN! There's a spot in Eryut Village where Fran stands near the entrance, if you stand in the right spot, and pan your camera around, your screen is full of Fran ass. They rebalanced the game to make it *easier* not harder. They basically made the game (that was already super easy), even *EASIER*.

if you want the game early go to events and give square your card, they might call you and give you an early copy. Just make sure they know you are a youtuber and would create videos to promote their shit, if your channel is big they might even give you the collectors edition for you to so an opening video.
