They listen to the Japanese dub because they don't understand it and so they can't pick up on the flaws in it. They understand English, so they know what's flawed. Many times, the Japanese dub is very flawed while the English one is good, but people will choose Japanese because they can't pick up on the flaws, and through a minor placebo effect, they think it's perfect.

all I've got to say is that "erryday" line better end up in the game, even if it's a secret interaction that you need to do specific things to get. it'd be a funny Easter egg. on a side note, the voice cast is unbelievable for this game. when you see all the trailers and everything, the voices fit so well and it just looks so natural. I think the fact that the voices are never talked about and underappreciated is really a testament to that because it's so easy to forget that there's a voice actor making these characters come to life because it's just "that" good, it's like the characters are real people. So my biggest heartfelt gratitude to each and every choice actor in this game for really doing my favorite game series, and such a long awaited and anticipated game, such a great justice.

Ok 2021 and I'm here to confess: I waited for FF13 Versus for almost 10 years (since that E3 trailer with coming soon on PS3) When I saw FFXV on 2017 I told myself Square Enix lied to us. I'll never play this game. It sucks! It's not what I was waiting for! Fast forward in Quarantine days, I stuck at home for about 1 year and half and every night I play FFXV. Every night I ride Regalia and explore the world with fellow chocobros. Story had lots of lacks but I'm talking about the post game. The beautiful details in this game and this game has definitely the best AI characters for party members. This game motivated me to learn 3d game animation. I'm not native but it was my dream to become video game voice actor EXACTLY since I played FFX and heard Lulu and Yuna's voices. I know I have no chance in voice acting industry and I'm too old to start a new journey but... who knows? Life is full of surprises! So thank you Square Enix. Thank you everyone. Your game saved me during quarantine.
