What an amazing cue setup Gorst has. Viking / Whyte Carbon love the simple design too. 8 ball should never be played on a 9 ft. A 7 ft is the way it's meant to be played. The congestion is what makes 8 ball hard.

He is hitting head ball like a side rail 10 ball break. He’s hitting it that way to play for either of the second balls from corner ball on the back row to go up into either of the top corner pockets. And it leaves a messy rack. Compared to how Josh started the match breaking, spreading the balls and leaving a roadmap for either player, in most cases.
