Funny enough, as someone who's been testing a fair bit of Spright since the Ice Barrier card dropped, it almost seems like it may be a wiser call to opt for a Shifter build as was standard before terminal revenge. Toad is extremely powerful, but Spright is fortunate enough to have access to unfair BS like Iblee and Shifter, and in order to win vs these powerhouses as a mid-tier deck, you gotta take advantage of as much unfair BS as possible

Playing iblee has been worse since SP Little Knight has been in the game, its just free libk material, then removal for your Opp before they even commit to a play

@@GorillazMon1313 Typically you get rid of their normal summon before they even get a chance to link away. Normal, trigger catty, pinny synchro, Sprind bounce the normal summon. And you have Double cross to tuck away the Sprind if they try to crash Iblee

I felt so much whiplash seeing Memento in top 5. I just havent really been paying attention to the meta lately. I'm just waiting on the next banlist, experimenting for Post-ROTA, and finally exploring Edison format. Also, once again we are underestimating Lab. Time for some free wins, lmao.

Meme-nto can easily make equally oppressive boards to Snake or Fiend Link. Adding the fact none knows how to counter it make this very viable choice. Lab is at it's best on Tier 2, as soon as it goes higher it flops due to side deck. Also the part about the Lab player needing to be very good (and lucky) is very true.

Lunalight sweep! EDIT: I love Melodious, but true to God INFO increased the powerlevel so much you have to be playing Snake-Eyes, Yubel and maybe Tenpai to have a chance.

Millennium probably gonna catch people off guard, the deck have like 18 card starter, can use shifter, village,and have stun potential with tcboo, and the new fusion is just crazy and who knows maybe if lucky you can immediately get exodia 😂, anyway I like memento getting the recognition, ritual beast is probably the best shifter deck and how toolboxy it is with the nemeses line, white woods/synchro deck without baronne feels awkward, the deck is gas tho, and lastly I think runick stun going to place better here people are going to focua on the top that they probably forgot to cover for it.

when I tested the deck the recovery is really bad. If your opponent ash your shield then you're pretty much dead

Only disagreement I have is Purrely. Nobody will have outs for the cat in side, main or extra. I was surprised when you mentioned goddess cause I guarantee you top cut will be fiendsmith almost exclusively and those decks CANNOT fit goddess. And there's 30 cards to put in your side deck before a kaiju or herald of the abyss this format. Awesome vid !

I can totally see the point and think purrely is better then don’t but you don’t need to play a out for tower is you have somewhat a interaction to interrupt the opponent so he can’t search the trap. As long as you can prevent big noir I feel like purrely isn’t a big threat

@@babyappa1122 While i agree about not having an out, I believe the main argument is not reaching Noir at all due to the abundance of handtraps. If you allow them to make a board to preserve the 5 materials, then the opponent can just deal with your big push (Zeus/Happy) and naturally outgrind you.

I think before necroquip princess the power gap between pure and fiendsmith wasn’t that crazy. But now SE ash + Diabelle plays through three hts instead of two. Pure SE is still solid tho cause you can compensate with more non engine.

I feel like with prominence of droll, and going second against fiendsmith, it's very very hard to play into that board, now that board breakers like DRNM can be negated. Not sure if it's top 5 anymore :'(

Dinomorphias big problem this format is going 2nd as always and more specifically that Yubel is the decks basically perfect counter. It has to basically stun yubel from being able to play and/or get brave eyes with soul of supreme king or the one spell floodgates for monsters under 1k attack. I think if it sees tops it's because someone just didn't run into many yubel decks.

I would say don’t play dinomorphia. They can’t really stop the yubel stuff in the fiendsmith yubel decks and I’m pretty sure that will have a decent amount of representation
