The equivalent of Britain's Brown Shirts in Ulster, what other regiment in the British army had members who committed murder and were members of an active terrorist group while serving? The British government did very little to get rid of the bad apples in the regiment who served the government's purposes of feeding the main Protestant terrorist groups information including potential targets (including people some unconnected to the IRA).

What did you really expect in all honesty. When serving friends are murdered , there’s always a chance that some will take a retribution line, it’s probably what you would expect.
