Thanks for taking the time and effort to share your experiences. Hope you continue your YT coverage and updates of the 911, even though the project has progressed to "maintenance mode".

Thanks for following along! I'm sure I'll get some driving videos up here and there now that all the heavy work is done and I can actually just drive it. :)

Looks fantastic! Love the subtle exterior mods…very tasteful yet aggressive. Thanks for the update!

looking to do the same thing on a 997 but for a track car on the road course?, what do you think about the handling on track with this weight and performance difference?

Sounds like a really cool project, you'll have to keep me up to date! So I haven't tracked this car, but many other that LS swap do. As to weight, the LS is lighter than the original motor - not by a lot like 20-30 lbs. That said, I don't feel any difference with handling at all. In fact, I just took it out today and was commenting how it just feels like a stock Porsche from a handling and drive ability - mind you it has a lot more HP than stock. I wouldn't shy away at all if I were you from building an LS swapped track car, and maybe consider a few things like a engine oil cooler, maybe a different oil pan with more baffles, or even something more crazy like a dry sump setup - all standard track prep stuff.
