@Turn It Up World-- A couple of years ago they were looking at motor homes and buses to convert into a camper bus. I don't think they ever quite found what they wanted at a price they could afford. But maybe someday they will? Of course, spending as much as a motor home costs as well as the limits of roadways, they would be limited to travel in the western hemisphere. Motor homes and buses don't float so Europe and Asia would be out of the question. Unless they could figure out how to maybe get the motor home onto a ship in Alaska and then get off the ship in Russia? Of course, this would mean years of road tripping. Not that it would be a bad thing. There's no airline expenses or schedules to deal with, no walking for miles dragging luggage because a taxi or Uber can't be found, no sketchy Air B&B rooms, and their schedule would be completely their own. Maybe the reduced stress would make their Endless Adventure even more fun?

Sorry about the traffic, but if you're going to sit in traffic having a VERY COOL camper van makes it worth it. Alison LOVE YOUR HAT and that Instagrammable photo of you on the front of the boat is amazing and that has to be one of the coolest spots to have lunch...well next to when we had lunch on the water next to a glacier in Alaska. Lake Louise is so impressive. You both had such a great time in Canada.

Visiting family in Vancouver when we took a road trip with them to Banff. It’s bringing back beautiful memories. We drove through Kelowna where it was 30 degrees C, the next day in Banff where it was snowing. What an experience. You cannot take a bad photo in Canada with the magnificent scenery.

Thanks for sharing. Have travelled all the way from Oz on several occasions to visit this amazing part of the world. I have been fortunate enough to visit in winter and spring,so have walked on these lakes in winter and seen their natural beauty in full colour in both early and late spring. You brought back such wonderful memories to me. Once again, thank you. 🌟🌟

I just love the beautiful, violent turquoise color of a glacier-fed body of water. It's just SO beautiful! But I sure wouldn't want to take a swim in it! BRRRR!

We spent 2 fabulous New years at Chateaux Lake Louise and one at Banff Springs plus a few winter nights swimming outside in the heated pool with temperatures minus 20 Celsius, fabulous fun. We drank a few cocktails at the Rundal bar there overlooking the Bow River and golf course. Loved their mussels in Pernod sauce and their Baguette of Brie with Black Forest ham. Memories to cherish.

I stayed at the Fairmont Springs in Banff this past Monday-Friday for my honeymoon. It is by far the most incredible place I've ever stayed. The hotel is gorgeous, and the staff is beyond wonderful. I've never experienced anything like it! We plan to come back for our five year anniversary and see the sights we didn't get to see this past time. We kept our days packed but there's no way you can see it all in 5 days.

I can understand missing Moraine Lake if it was frozen over. But during summer it is stunning, and quite near Lake Louise. So stunning in fact that it was pictured on the reverse of the Canadian 20 dollar bill back in the '70s. I was waiting through all the videos for you to mention/visit the Banff Springs Hotel. Glad you made it. It's a beautiful and historic structure. It's been nearly 30 years since I last visited Banff/Lake Louise, but the scenery was so unforgettable it feels like yesterday. So glad you had a wonderful time in our beautiful country. Please come back. There is so much more to explore.

Lake Moraine is amazing! It's even clearer than Lake Louise and Emerald Lake!! We ended up there by chance on our honeymoon because Lake Louise was soooooooooooooooooo busy that day in the summer. I think Moraine is the clearest lake in the world they say?! You guys definitely need to get back there in the middle of the summer and enjoy all the lakes and crazy views again!!!! My advice for a really fun trip to Banff is to do it without phones (except to take pictures with, if you want) and no GPS. It was the most EPIC exploring vacation ever and that's how we did it. Every day was an unexpected surprise of views and fun!

Beautiful. Love lake Louise.. I did road trip through the Rockies from Vancouver to Calgary via Jasper and Banff. We did the hike up the mountains at the far side of Lake Louise to the glaciers, which was a gorgeous hike (even with morning sickness, I was 3 mths pregnant) ... And not many people did it, so we had it almost all to ourselves, maybe because it was September? (end of season). Who knows!
@bernardber67505 жыл бұрын
Another great trip guys. I wanted to make sure you made the most of your experience there (now or maybe another time). You need to also go see Moraine Lake, Johnston Canyon and Takakkaw Falls (in Yoho National Park). When you see the falls, be sure to climb up the rocks in order to get up close to the falls (it is amazing -- don't stay far back on the path like everyone else -- just watch your step -- it's not dangerous). Also a really nice thing to do at Lake Louise is to have tea in the Fairmont hotel (as it gives you access to their gorgeous view of the lake). It's also really nice to hike the trail along the lake.

Or maybe visit the Great Bear forest. It was so nice having you here. Fairmont Lake Louise otherwise known as Chateau Lake Louise. Banff Springs reportedly has a ghost. Marilyn Monroe stayed at the Banff Springs after injuring herself while filming a movie. I've visited Emerald Lake & love its quiet beauty. Jasper Lake Lodge, Chateau Lake Louise & Banff Springs were built by one of Canada's national railways, the Canadian Pacific Railways to promote tourism. I feel like a Heritage moment, Canada's PSA.

That Camper Van has given me food for thought for when I get round to finding and converting a vehicle, preferably 4WD and an ex Military Ambulance, Solar panels, wind turbine linked to deep charge batteries, with a diesel heating system and cooker. Air Con not normally needed in these Latitudes except mainland Europe in Summer. Insectocuter a much needed fitment as the bloody Wasps have just started to emerge, one just committed suicide in my kitchen one, the crack startled me and almost caused a typo, I know it is a wasp as it is stuck to the grid. I do turn it off if a Bee is in the kitchen, until it has flown out.
