It's pretty obvious by now but at the very end he used the super to stop vegeta's DP to be safe but then the super itself was also unsafe so he DHC'd into the next safest thing, 18's super. The bad part was that momochi didn't realise that and pressed 2H with Goku Black so he took that extra damage.
