I’d live to see you review a Tereva Scrama. It’s my Go-to camp knife, it bites deep it, swings well, and it doesn’t mess up my wrists like many large knives do.

Well, you'll be pleased to know that the next chopping series (of which filming is already underway) is Skrama vs all winners!

@@homeslicesharpening wonderful! Scrama against the world, it certainly is a worthy competition.

Interesting how the 17º edges outperformed 19º edges in these tasks. How thick are these knives behind the cutting edge ? Have you ever tried to measure the length of the cutting edge grind before & after testing ? This would yield a concept of a working edge radius.

Yeah, it really was - not sure if we're seeing less material compression yielding better lasting sharpness. Who knows? Both of these knives were somewhere between 18 and 22 thousandths behind the edge. I don't think I have equipment sufficient to measure the difference in edge grind length accurately, but that would be fascinating!

I either need to stop watching this series, or tell my credit card company to block any payments to Khailash's web store.
