Hear me out: Maybe Shoko's CT is like a "machine" that takes in cursed energy and spits out RCT (explains efficiency and how she can do it to others and she cant teach it). That way Yuta could have copied it and Rika, being his cursed technique storage vessel just used that to use REGULAR CE to do RCT without dying.

@ManganimistYT I thought the opposite of curses was stated in name by Gojo (or at least implied) when talking about Hanami being similar to "nature spirits," which could be a loose term or even specific group of positive spirits. It was probaboy the biggest part of the series i wish we had more of, and even feel like Higuruma as an MC for another part that explores more positive energy, nature spirits and the other side of the spectrum dealing with curses, as well as worldbuilding in a post-gatekept jujutsu society (such as modern sorcerers often lacking simple domain). He would make for a great potential teacher, or even installing him as a higher up in the future for his genius and crucial technique in restoring order in the society would be a great read imo.

That's a special case where the curse is so strong it warps the area into basically an incomplete innate domain. But pretty sure a sorcerer can just use an enclosed domain without a ct since you make one by learning barrier techniques and then infusing your ct into it

I also think the reason that nobody can create a projection of their innate domain without Ct, is because cursed energy is more efficient with a cursed technique and not as raw energy. It’s just as Gojo said when he was showing Yuji the difference between cursed technqiue output and raw cursed energy outout

About the techniqueless domain, would that not essentially be domain amplification over a larger area? Because domain amplification is described as wrapping yourself in a thin layer of your innate domain without applying your technique, and instead allowing your opponents technique to fill that space, negating its effect. So a domain expansion with no imbued technique i imagine would function the same as domain amplification but with the applied area being the defined domain barrier as opposed to the casters body.

It might be that Domain expansions were open back in the heian era, and after Sukuna killed everybody, they vanished from history, hence why the only 2 characters that can perform it are Kenjaku and Sukuna. After so many of the key pillars of jujutsu fell, there wasn’t anyone alive that could perform it and no one alive that knew how to do the open domain expansion, so it died out. We already are aware that the higher ups in jujutsu did not like having people they couldn’t control so having the inferior closed domain was both weaker, and easier to teach students how to do, because as it’s said, an open domain is like painting on thin air, and obviously painting on a canvas is easier. Just a thought but maybe that’s why open domains are exclusive to Kenny and Sukuna

If Kenjaku's technique is body hopping to a dead host, could it imply that his rct and binding vows are what makes reincarnating sorcerers into cursed objects to take a live host? And if so, as long as Yuta is actually okay, wouldn't his innate ability to detain the souls of loved ones and now Kenjaku's twchnique be a potential wah to bring Gojo, and other fallen comrades up? Would definitely help the overall society by keeping and respawning your team of sorcerers, and Yuji, Yuta and Higuruma all living currently is dangerous since together they should make up less than 5 years of jujutsu training, so their peak potential is probably a great example of what Gojo meant about the next generation's unreal potential

An interesting thing to think about how would've Gojo bypassed the world cutting slash? Mahoraga changed the target of Sukuna's technique, all Gojo would have to do is change the targeting of his infinity onto the world instead of himself, additionally he could deploy a binding vow to increase infinity's defense against domain amplification with a binding vow, not allowing him to move or attack when he changes the targeting of his infinity. Possibly rendering domain amplification useless against his infinity

To expand on @jarrelosu14 theory, Yuta could agree to a binding vow with Kenjaku to get his body back but part of that deal also includes Kenjaku needing to bring Gojo back too. When Kenjaku's soul goes into Gojo's body, there is the added caveat that Kenjaku must make a binding vow with Gojo in Gojo's innate domain for this to work (similar to the start of the JJK series between Sukuna and Yuji even though Yuji's body was dead). Maybe everyone knows this and waiting for Gojo and Kenjaku to agree to a binding vow, which is why they're not bothered about Gojo's death. Then probably Kenjaku continues to "live on" inside Gojo and feed his thirst of knowledge through Gojo's eyes/life. I think JJK has got me all crazy now! I doubt any of this will happen in 2 chapters

Imo Yuta couldn't copy Cursed Spirits techniques (like Mahitos) is because they are made from cursed energy, and can heal themselves by default. So even if Rika ate lets say Mahitos arm, he would simply heal and the arm inside Rika would be void for copying the technique

Kenjaku used Cursed Spirit Control to take over Rika. This caused Yujo to collapse. Kenjaku took over Yutas body. Yujo is either laying there or disposed of/eaten by Rika or Yujaku.

I’d like to propose that while the interaction between 2 open domains wasn’t directly stated, it is implied. Within the barrier, because Sukuna & Gojo’s domain were equally refined, the auto-hits were cancelled out. Odds are, in a clash between 2 open domains with equally refined techniques, this principal would hold; in other words, they would cancel each other out completely (to an outside observer, there would be no discernible difference within the fight from before they activated their domains vs after they activated them).

@@soldierbreed It’s weird but realistically speaking with all the behind-the-scenes planning + mid-fight discussions it would be unrealistic to believe that Gojo didn’t know that barrierless domain expansions were possible; most likely the real problem is that 1. Even though he’s a genius, he still needs to see how someone does a technique before he can get a grasp on how to do it (kinda like Sukuna) and 2. The best person that could teach him how to do barrierless domain expansions in the good guys side would most likely be Tengen(seeing how they’re the barrier expert for the good guys), and Gojo never had a chance to inter act with them post-Shibuya. And when it comes to improvising mid-fight, Gojo is king! (Think the 0.1 sec domain expansion, and all the mid-fight adjustments that Gojo made to his domain to mitigate the advantage of Sukuna’s barrierless domain)

​@golbez1583 I think gojo just wanted to see what would happen if they domain clashed considering he believes himself to be the strongest he probably thought he just outclassed him. When he realized they were pretty even it then became a question of what can he do to tip the scales. Open barrier domain vs open barrier domain came with too many unknowns, it was probably just more efficient to keep altering what he already knew to find a solution. Also, in my opinion 2 open domains are just as likely to cancel both techniques as they are to not cancel either, for all we know gojo v sukuna open barrier domain could've resulted in sukuna being a vegetable while gojo's getting sliced

Thoughts on this idea for the final scene of potentially part 1? We cut to the grave yard where Gojo’s body was buried, suddenly he claws his way out of the grave in shock but SURPRISE it’s not Gojo, it’s Yuta. We then cut to Yutas body, now possessed by Kenjaku who is standing atop of Shoko, Kusakabe and Ui UI’s corpses (specific people don’t matter but I chose them because they cause a lot of problems for them in the last arc) standing against Yuji Megumi and Nobara holding the last Sukuna finger and extracting Tengen from it “thank you for this final gift, Sukuna” and then BOOM “End of Part 1” It has occurred to me that Japan doesn’t really do the grave thing the same as us so maybe go with Shokos morgue instead of a grave

Open domains require kinda the opposite of the requirements of a normal domain, you need to be able to visualize your innate and bring ppl in for a normal domain, for an open domain it requires you to be able to visualize bringing your innate OUTWARD onto the real world, with that being said U.V. open domain would literally be gojo opening and universe on our heads with nowhere to run 😅

I think gojo could definitely develop an open domain. Its a thousand year mastery compared to his measly 28 year of existence. With his innate talent and the six eyes, he could definitely do it with age. Narratively, allowing gojo to open a barrierless infinite void, everyone’s just cooked. That cant be good.

I think a reversal to "Rika" would just look like a reversel of copy but we the help of Rika. Maybe Yuta can reduce the time of copy to heal others, that would explain why he could easily learn how to heal others with RCT.

The miracles are only used on life threatening attacks like the World Cutting Slash that cut Yuta in half. Had Yuta copied this technique, he would've lasted significantly longer against Sukuna.

I can't tell if uiui's abilibity is an upgrade or down grade of boogie woogie. It can switch souls but isn't as fast. It does have way more range though. I'm in the camp that Gojo using an open domain, would be tbe worst case for anyone around. I mean to be the good guy an infinite void with no discrimination is absolutely a hindrance. If he learned that and how to ignore targets than it would just be broken.

Todo’s Boogie Woogie is certainly as good as it is because it’s user is so intelligent and strategic. Ui UI’s CT I think offers more potential than Boogie Woogie, but how it’s being used with a vibraslap is absolutely busted. Todo can potentially do 50 swaps in a second. The less swaps he does, the more his range of individual swaps increases. For example let’s say Todo could originally swap with a maximum radius of 50m from his position. Now with the vibraslap, If he only takes advantages of 5/50 swaps. Then each swap has a 500m radius If he only does one singular swap or two. As he did when he helped Yuta ambush Kenjaku. Then his swaps can cover 1250-2500m Now back in the goodwill exchange event when Todo swapped Yuji with Playful Cloud. He already did a swap that was probably as large as a distance of +200m so replace that hypothetical 50m with ~200m and you’ll see why Boogie Woogie is so busted.

If uiui learns that and all he has to do is mark a target by touching it all he would need to do is touch 3 things to, hypothetically, constant swap them. Since I don't know his limit, he is essentially law from one piece.

@@artypyrec4186 ooh I see. Well as far as I’m aware. Ui Ui can’t necessarily teleport things outside of himself (yet) and only teleport someone besides himself if they’re covered by his cloak. Ui Ui can (Soul-Swap) but the limits of that and requirements are not confirmed. Could he swap the inanimate souls? Does he need consent? I definitely agree with you though. I think if Ui Ui ever unlocks his CTR he could teleport things outside his “barrier” perhaps teleport incoming things and place them somewhere away from himself. Maybe redirecting them in the process. I also hope that Ui Ui invests time and effort into becoming a Swordsman like Kusakabe cause him using SD for a CE output boost, coupled with a teleport stab for the head. Would defeat 99% of the JJK verse. Imo opinion a fully realized teenage Ui Ui should be Special-Grade

If that vague description is correct I don't know if he could teleport anything at any time. I agreee with you if he unlocks it, that it would be great but right now I can't tell if it's more useful than Todo's ability.

If that was the case then he wouldn’t need to show up on the battlefield, grab the wounded and then teleport back to Shoko. Then he could just instantaneously teleport anyone back to him and Shoko. I definitely think Boogie Woogie (with vibraslap is stronger than UI Ui CT currently. Since unless you specifically have to travel from say Japan to Malaysia ;) Then of course Ui Ui’s CT reigns supreme but someone on Todo’s level or even higher like Yuta. They can theoretically do one swap that spans anywhere from 10-50km which is an insane distance! Two additional notes: When Todo uses his SD if it was Kusakabe sized (~50m) then anything that enters Todos SD whether it’s Maki, Toji, or Sukuna would all be subject to Boogie Woogie. Last but not least, Todo could place a CE infused rock like 100m away from himself and an opponent. Swap with the rock if they opponent tries to pop a domain. The opponent will be forced to dispel their DE and suffer CT burnout. Then Todo could swap back with the rock and jump them. Pretty busted CT if you ask me.
