Boothill definitely seems more technical and fun to play than firefly. I would want to see Fei Xiao's kit first before deciding or just pull ruan mei first.

I struggled with physical and ice dps for a long time, so I saved for Jingliu. Lost the 50/50 to Clara, then pulled her. If I hadn't immediately built both, I'd be pulling for Boothill, but at this point I have main DPS options for every element so I'm saving for supports.

weII most CC dont even knw the difference between SingIeTarget and AoE.. sure AoE Iooks Iike a Iot more damage, but the damage was divided throughout all the mobs on the screen. For exampIe Acheron Ult might hit around 600k minimum if we have 5 mobs on the screen, and the middle target still onIy get around 80k-180k damage, thats all.. whiIe BoothiII can hit SingIe enemy for 300k and even more just Iike that, meaning the target will be dead faster, and we can switch to the other target that fast.

But in most gamemodes where you have 2-3 bosses or enemies in general, or even more, its just better to hit aoe, more in a break team being able to lower multiple bars at the same time than 1 by 1

@@asoret weII that is compIeteIy wrong.. Iets take the Iatest MoC12 for exampIe, there's this one unit out of the 2, where he can hypnotize/charm one of our team, Iets say we dont want to deaI with that, with singIe target Iike BoothiII we can just done with that in few moves, and on the otherhand using AoE Iike Acheron/Sam wiII took few more moves since the damage is spread out to aII units on the screen. The reason we want to take out one boss mob as fast as we can is because we dont want to receive any dmg from multipIe units which will equals to more dmg towards our team if we didnt take one out, therefor taking one mob boss fast can minimize the dmg we take, thats the point where most didnt realize.. they just want to see big dmg but didnt undrstnd what it means, AoE big dmg just means the dmg being spread out and each mob didnt take the same amount of damage we see on screen, whiIe BoothiII can instantIy end one unit with 300k dmg and more, that is vaIuabIe plus he appIy his element, gg. AoE or singIe, the amount of turn to win is stiiI the same pace, but with the amount of dmg from BoothiII as ST wiII make the run more easier with Iess dmg taken.

@@BaschBarrage By that logic you could also break everyone fast with future aoe break unit, and with ruan mei you wouldn't be receiving much damage or none at all, while with single you only stop one, but I see what you mean

@@asoret aIso Ruan Mei can be used with BoothiII too.. therefor instead of taking few turns to took out aII mobs with AoE, the ST dmg can out 1 probIematic mob in an instance, safer run.

His kits more simple to Seele. While Seele need to kill to get resurgence, while Boothil kill the mobs to get stacks that permanent.

Physical break scaling with the target's max HP means he's effectively immune to powercreep, so he's the first hypercarry I'm actually interested in since Kafka (Who indirectly scales with future nihility DoT characters).

Dissociation is also a thing, although not a break mechanic.

Physical break does not scale with enemy hp, it just has a high multiplier. Boothill’s damage would be similar if he did fire break, which has the same break multiplier. Physical break bleed scales with enemy hp, so it would scale with enemy hp if you had a dot trigger like luka on his team, but even then there’s a cap and it’s generally not worth it.

I wonder have you ever played octopath traveler series? It has bascially the same break and turn manipulation effects. YOU would love it for sure. They have two installments and a gacha game. Its challenging AND fun.

3:09 Every Dps character will eventually get outclassed or overshadowed by newer Dps' I just wonder how long he'll stay viable. He's the first of probably many Limited break-dps characters, I just hope he doesn't get the Seele treatment.

I don’t pull firefly is cus i have too much destruction path now, Acheron still can do almost the same as Firefly as i see.

I am more of a DoT and AoE player, i like BE teams, but i'll wait for a unit that suits my taste (AoE BE -not FF tho - o just good ol' DoT). He seems ok, just like any other dps. I like his design tho (not a love a 1rst sight but nice to look at), but hunt path it's not my cup of tea, at least for now, who knows what the future holds.

I can only give him a single multi. And... Hopefully I will not get him. I like his play style and all, but we where hit by a wave of top unit in Hsr . Ruan mai then black swan, sparkle, Acheron adventurine, robin.... Then after boothill we have firefly and jade.... I was able to skip adventurine, but keeping up is getting harder. Also, I just finally leveled my sushang, what would she think if her place is taken before she could prove her worth?

i test her in the current MOC and she is right i think, i build her almost full break effect and speed in super break team. We need to wait after boothill release if they inflate the bosses HP again...
