It's call a Flower Moon and also called a Blood Moon. I don't know if you will see it out there. I'll share the photos.

Fantastic job! Your design tastes and installation / fabrication skills would be enough to keep many (most?) of us watching. But then the commentary, comradery, teamwork, and cheery dispositions are captivating! What a joy to be tagging along with you four as you transform your 20 acres into a terrific house - workshop, but also into a Home. Thank you both. RILEY QUESTION TO BOONE: "What do you think about this thing? (the dishwasher) BOOONE: "It is stuuuupid! My tongue gets plates way cleaner and I cost less." :-)

Seeing that rain reminds me... When we built our last house we lived in the shop the 4 years it took to build the house (we both had full time jobs back then). I won't go into the story of 5 wells to get water, that's part of why we spent four years living in the shop. Anyway, we set up a rain water harvesting system that we used for showers, sinks, the clothes washer, etc. It was pretty simple. Gutters, a "roof washer" system to divert the first part of the rainfall, a 1500 gallon tank in the shop portion of the building, 3 filters to get down to 3 microns, and a shallow well pump that maintained constant pressure to everything. We used delivered water for cooking and drinking and had a composting toilet (I'll never have another one of those...). We were 50 or 60 miles west of you guys in Washington state. Plenty of rain and snow melt in that area. The rain harvesting worked very well. A couple times it got close but we never ran out of water. You would be shocked how much water is in a small shower with the size of that building. Oh yeah, speaking of that, the system also had an overflow for the tank.

Rain catchment system with spouting and tank and debris runoff should be a great way to save on hauling water

There is literally nothing else in my KZbin subscriptions or recommends that even remotely resembles this channel. It’s mostly MMA/VIDEO TECH/STREAMING TECH. But I got hooked to your channel when you were building the camper and now I’m just too invested to walk away. It’s 9am, I should be heading to work but instead im sitting in my couch watching 2 people putting up kitchen tiles and enjoying every second of it. The internet is odd. Also Boon and Bailey are adorable.

Nice tile work. A good pair of Glass/Tile Suction Cups will make a huge difference lifting and setting the tile. Also, when mixing mortar, add water first, start mixer, then add dry mortar into the pail. It’s easier on your mixers motor.

The #1 question with a Fischer Paykel dishwasher is are your dinner plates small enough? Having the controls on the face is really nice. Mine are on top of the drawer face and a bit of a pain. Thanks for the smart switches reference. I have a few locations that I need to retrofit them. I'm thankful for convincing my wife on glass small subway tile for the kitchen tile back done a few years ago.

Lutron Casseta is awesome. Add a couple of lights in the garage and entry area, a remote in the cars, and you'll never walk into a dark house again! Also great is the ability to turn on a bunch of lights with a single button when you hear boo in the night. I would also ping the ecoflow folks, because they should be able to integrate in order to shut off lighting circuits, etc, if the batteries are too low.

We've got a full size washer that we never use because, like you, there's only 2 of us. And having one half the size, with less than half the water/power consumption would be excellent.
