As a man who watches a number of different tv shows, over my years living in Australia, Europe and the UK, I can say, when it comes to Comedy and especially Cop Drama, the UK is way ahead of the US in drama. US comedy can be more international, where UK comedy is more funny if you understand British humor. But Cop drama is at its peak in the UK.

I loved the ending. (spoilers) All I wanted to whole time was for David to release the tension he had been building up. and to acknowledge that he has PTSD and to be honest with his wife about how it affected their marriage. I loved seeing him go to a psychologist and admit he needed help, and I loved seeing him drive off with his family and leave the conspiracy shit behind. it wasn't anticlimactic for me, it was satisfying and right for his character. The other loose ends can be picked up in a new season.

I love how in some other movies the main character is ice cold, calm, and its supposed to be a norm. Sure if you can do it would be perfect, but being calm in such situations could also be a sing of mental problems. I think that this here is a realistic situation, where a trained person gets in a extremly stressful situation, sheds most of the stress off, remains reasonble, but not perfectly calm, for instance, like in Equalizer.

The series plays out more like a long movie rather than a TV show. Instead of a bunch of mini story arcs, the show only focuses on a single one over its 6 episode span. It really doesn't climax until the final episode. The build up in ep4/5 is great though.

Have to say both my mum and I have really enjoyed this drama; it's been superb. A big welldone to the writers, makers, actors (great cast!) and new comer, Richard Madden; he now joins the many fine, established British actors we're all so very proud to call our own! My only slight criticism would be that there were not even one or two subtle clues with regard to his boss being the inside woman, so this came as a suprise and thus felt a bit unlikely, it also made no sense that Nadia cracked when she did and gave a confession, I think it would have helped if we had seen added pressure of a kind beforehand with both of these characters; other than that it was a brilliant final episode! Loved it! Ta.

*SPOILER* Thought the ending was pretty disappointing, first few episodes were excellent a solid 9/10 but the last one was just meh. Big build up to this government conspiracy and then it's just blamed on the random girl at the start. Didn't even explain the whole briefcase thing and how they knew to put pressure on the stage. Plus let's be honest, we were all hoping Julia was still alive, would've made it feel complete, now it just feels a bit rushed and went from a great story with intense scenes, to a bunch of intense scenes with an average plot twist. Shame really, was good, but it could've been great.

I wasn’t hoping Julia was alive.She was killed off.There was no way a person would survive that.I think it would have taken away from the moment is they decided to bring her back.

Daniel Sanderson and the whole point of the plot is that they needed her dead so why would they go to all of the trouble to fake her death. Faking her death would be more of a detriment to them than it would be to have just actually have killed her. Which they obviously did
