Grew up in Philly, never had geno’s. Was in line once and looking at the pictures on the wall. Noticed they had pictures of Emmitt smith, Jimmy Johnson, Micheal Irving and Troy aikman on the wall. How are you going to call yourself a Philly icon and have Dallas cowboys on your wall? Immediately got out of line and went across the street. Both are tourist traps, you can get better steaks in almost every neighborhood throughout the city.

Unfortunately, Pat’s and Geno’s used to be excellent several years ago, but the taste and quality have gone way down. They can't at all compete with the many great Philly cheesesteak spots.
