Iconic and top superbike of the 80ties,the first of the successfull GSXR generation to come.Nowadays quite hard to find for buying one, plus the price of them increased so much .I am shure it is going to become a classic soon.Great motorbike and great rider too.

OK. So you are putting the old, long-stroke 750 engine in the later, Slingshot Chassis? I did the opposite - newer, Slingshot engine into the older frame. I'm not sure you are going in the right direction here, but good luck to you and thanks for watching my video. Check out my build story here: www.motorosso.net/1986-suzuki-gsxr750/

Was hoping the Acceleration, might be as Special as my late beloved 05 fuel inj. Bandit 650 ??, But alas No !!,. Certainly Couldn't Accelerate, leaning over ??, You'd Lose the back wheel !!, More than likely unfixable. My late beloved Bandit ??, At least 58, 59 times more biking joy, than in '84 my nearly new Kawa.750 turbo, heard first production bike any size, to do the Standing quarter mile in 10 seconds, mine got a Planted 161mph. All very Spectacular ,just not Bandit Time Acceleration ??, Felt like an industrial catapult fired it off, totally upright PROPELLED forward, ALL at the back wheel. 20 months of Blessed Bandit Time, Times, got a PhD Masters Degree in Bandit Torque Enjoyment only, nothing technical.bSadly now a HOPEFULLY only semi retired Crazy Mad Banditateer, FEKKIN Banditaholic. Crazy Mad ?, Take Care ??, Not a Chance ??, It's a Bandit, see gap, Bandit gets through the gap. SPEC BLOODY TACULAR Biking JOY.

Have you modified your bike? because mine didn't do 12,000 rpm

Yes, the engine is from a 1989 GSX-R750 that can rev to 12,500 rpm. I'm not sure how accurate the tach is, but I hit the rev-limiter many times. The engine is basically stock with a little head porting and cam timing adjustment. The carbs are stock 36mm Slingshots. I'm using a race Yoshimura header with a 2" mid-pipe and muffler. It is relatively quiet compared to my Ducatis. On the dyno the engine made 113.5 RWHP @ 11,500 rpm. At the end of the the front straight I hit 140 mph according to GPS.
