The Nihility embodies meaninglessness. Nothing matters in the end and so you might as well do nothing. Acheron became an Emanator of Nihility precisely because of that. Out of all the people she struggled the most against fate. Against the fact that nothing she would do would change her future. She failed. Her future was indeed. Nothingness. Yet precisely because she struggled the most she embodies the Nihility and became an emanator by chance. Because what could embody Nihility better than doing everything you can and still failing in the end. Yet at the same time there is one option. One path to defeat Nihility. If everything is indeed meaningless in the end. Then we may still choose to give our choices meaning and thus defeat nihility. Her giving Tiernan her name embodies this separate path so well. On one side, it doesnt matter. She will forget. He will disappear. Nobody will remember this conversation. At the same time, we already know she is the parralel of Raiden Mei/Ei of HI3 and GI, we knew all along even if she didn't say. But she did give us and Tiernan her name. Even if we knew. Even if he would disappear. That in itself has meaning. It doesn't need to have a reason. It simply does. That is the path that may in the future usurp Nihility as well. Existentialism, even if life is ultimately meaningless. We exist, therefore we can give life meaning.

@@agekkcrow oooh, I was confused because 10 woulda been the right amount from the visitor dialogues with him, but that makes sense that they'd use the opportunity to give other jades you would miss from Misha disappearing. Also unrelated, but I gotta say, I really enjoyed watching your perspective of this story arc, I find it really cool to see someone actually process and piece together the details of the (complex) plot. One example being, not many people pieced together the whole Misha plot point, I personally caught onto the whole thing right at the start, so when you figured out that Misha was shown 'in reality', I was quite glad I wasn't the only one~ especially as I've seen everyone missing so many other details throughout Penacony's story. 🥲
