This monitor looks good. If I wasn’t used to playing my pc games on a 4K oled tv I would consider buying this monitor. go with pg27aqdp. I've been using it since yesterday. incredible monitor. at 27 you don't need 4K. This means you don't have to buy a new graphics card every generation to achieve 240 Hz in 4k. I also sent the LG32GS95 back. It's a great monitor but as I said, it will always be expensive to maintain the fps. and 480fps in 1080p 32inch looks really terrible
@007LuckyCharms4 ай бұрын
It's the perfect endgame monitor you get 4k for media and non competitive games plus 1080p. Alot of the time I'll just keep dual mode activated when I'm watching 1080p videos cause I can't really tell the difference unless it's a 4k video. You can also scale the screen down to 24 or 27 inches I just keep it at full screen. it's kinda the same like 540hz, competitive games are very easy to run either 1080p/2k barely any difference, CPU > GPU in that case. Unless we're talking about other games that require lots of power from GPU then we ain't even getting past 240hz for those type of games
@Dirty_Dumb_NAFO_ScumАй бұрын
What running a 480hz monitor means is that you'll have zero bottlenecks under 480fps as long as your GPU is decent. With a decent graphics card that's not a 50-series, you can get a decent 320fps and it will be stable, that's sort of how display frequencies work. It's difficult to max out the display frequency to its fps equivalent, but if your display frequency exceeds your FPS limit your display output will be very stable.

You don't have to get your FPS locked to 480hz to get a benefit from this monitor. 480hz is merely the output frequency, and that means anything below 480 fps is going to be more stable as long as you have a good enough graphics card and CPU. For example, you have a 4080 with a decent processor, you can lock your FPS to 320 and it's not a waste because a 480hz monitor will ensure that 320fps in that setup will be a very stable 320fps. It's not about redlining your display frequency, it's about having very stable frame output, that's what gives the edge in online games.
