This video is a great insight in to how many police interactions begin and end. Not everyone is going to engage in small talk and I believe that is what makes this encounter seem different. I was a police officer for 25 years in Tampa, and I worked as a training officer. Most of my career was midnight shift and centered close to downtown. It was full of commercial, residential, and entertainment areas. It would be fair to call a lot of areas violent and full of drug activity too. Even though you try to begin each encounter the same, it doesn’t always work out like that. The violence will change the way you behave. One thing I always tried to convey to other officers, new and old, was to not be a dick. Here in Tampa, we were good. Damn good. It was the younger ones that always needed to learn that message to not be a dick. You get more cooperation and less resistance when you’re being nice. But there are people out there hell bent to bring death and destruction into the world. Another thing to remember is that people generally don’t call the police when they’re having a good day. Just think how much better the world would be if everyone stopped being dicks to each other. By the way, while Ofc Estrada’s death remains a mystery, at least we have a glimpse of her warm personality. She looks like she was a beautiful soul and a treasure lost. I pray there is justice to be found.

Social Security Number (SSN) in the US is basically the way they identify us for tax purposes. You also have to have one to legally work and have your taxes automatically withheld. On top of that, since people have his Name, SSN and Date of Birth, it is real easy to apply for credit cards etc. If I was the poster of this video, I would find a way to edit the video, block out that info and repost it if wanted, but as said, already 2 mil + have seen it.

Isabella Parker I’ve been through that before it goes away after awhile when you realize that the perfect person you built them up to be in your mind never really existed and this is really what/who they are. You start to look back at all the red flags and shit you didn’t like about them and become so repulsed by then that you wonder to yourself why you let that slide in the first place. I have witnessed a police officer harshly questioning a young man who had a metal disability. This made the young man break down in tears. The police officer wrongly claimed that he had been using drugs. If the police officer had approached him without being so pushy, the man would had been able to respond accordingly. My point is that officers and civilians would benefit from an interaction where the civilian is treated more kindly.

I was attacked by a male cop. I was half a sleep in my car when the cops came up to me. They drove a white van. At first I didn't understand the white van were cops and packed full of them. I see a nice woman smiling at me really friendly. My first thought what the hell is going on. Then I realize it's cops. She told me to find another place to idle. That was alright with me but I couldn't drive till the cops let me out and in my opinion I had a nice and polite conversation with the friendly smiling female cop. Out of nothing the male cop driver yelled. WILL YOU FF's SAKE MOVE!!!??? I was so shocked. WTF? Me and him gave eachother the evil eye. He was asian tho. I said. Get back to your police state. This is not how we talk to eachothere here. I am not used to be talked to like that. He tear up his door. Came running towards me. Teared up my door and dragged me out of my car. I started to fight back. All of a sudden he came to sense and acted reasonable. He even brushed dirt of my clothes. I felt bad for him. I am pretty sure that he was on steroids. I regret I didn't ask what his female collegue failed bcoz she was in charge. Did she handle me wrong?
