2WD RC cars are fun & challenging to drive! You really have to control them with skill. They are relatively cheap to "over power" making for lots of sideways action!! 4WD is amazing of course, but the speeds & grip levels are absolutely insane now.

This car is sick! Please could you advise me on what pinion I need for a brushless upgrade, the new motor has a 5mm shaft unlike the smaller stock motor. This car looks awesome something about lime green color makes think of a car you would in those''Midnight Club'' video games from back in the day. Also brushed RC bashers like this proves to me that is still a market fot it granted you don't the speed and power brushless gives you but because it doesn't have al that it's makes more tougher to take a good skate park bashing without breaking anything unless of it's a colder day outside? 😜😜😜😜🤣🤣🤣🤣 Plus the downside of dealing with brushed motors are the life span of them aren't going to last long but hey I look forward to seeing what exactly you have in stored for this truck in the near future Aaron?👍👍😎😎👍👍

I've had mine for just over a week and I've converted it to a drag car already using the same 6500kv motor and 100a esc that comes in the losi 22s. It's a rocketship.

Is the wheelbase the same. Can i use the losi bodies?

@surfside75 the wheelbase is listed at 13" which is within a 1/4 inch of the 22s and drag slash I believe, and its noticeably lighter than the 22s as well as being mid motor. I haven't fitted a body to it yet because the rear track width is much wider than most bodies but i found the proline 56 f100 body fits perfectly and will be mounting it today. The only difficult part (and not horizon hobby part) was mounting a wheelie bar but I managed to fit one from a dr10 with some minor Ingenuity and a turn buckle, I would have used one from a 22s if I had one on hand but patience isn't my forte. Lastly I found out the transmission ratio is 3.13 to 1 any other questions and I'll be happy to answer to the best of my knowledge

Great little basher! I've been looking for a budget out of the box basher. Right now I just have a few speed freak rigs that would not last a minute if I were to take them off road the other suggestion for budget RC besides this would be awesome. Lmao! I can't tell you how many times I've taken my Gorgon body off to put a battery in it. It's just not natural any other way, lol. Arrma has a winner with these Gorgon based trucks. They're cheap, fun, and can handle way more power.

I'm still on the fence about this chassis design because I'm not a fan of battery doors on the underside. I'd also like to see AWD and brushless upgrade options, however there's so little room it doesn't look as easy to upgrade as a full pan chassis. Having said all that, I like seeing new innovations and I'm excited to see where these new platforms go! 🤓

Hey Aaron, is the body lexan or PVC like the Gorgon's.? Not gonna lie, that is the only good thing about traxxas, parts for life.😊 Losi and associated be discontinuing models as if they hate their customers. Bye bye Losi never again.😢 -4 baja rey v1 and 1.5 now.. no parts will be made in the future so that's crazy. I have a question. My husband watches your channel all the time. We where just in the flood In north east Tennessee. All our RC stuff was in a room that got 6 inches of mud. We have been work long hours sence Saturday to get everything clean up and would like to give him some good news. Not sure if any of the RCs even work now but Is it safe to charge the lipos after they have been water logged?

Batteries like Li-Ion and LiPo's are sealed and water tight. It's unlikely, even when submerged, that they will take on water in the cells. If they have puffed up, they may have been damaged if they have been bashed around. The cells may be flat though, below the threshold to charge back up as water conduits between the positive and negative connections. Dry the batteries well, shake out any residual water and place on a towel to absorb moisture, keep in a warm area with a fan to promote evaporation. If you have a good charger, it should be able to tell you the voltage per cell and if it's in the 2.9-3.0v+ range, they will take a charge, below that and they may be right dead. I would recommend charging them outside for sure and at a low amperage, keeping a close eye on them to make sure they don't pop and catch fire. Hope that's some help, there are a few resources online on the topic, google it and see. There might be some additional items I may have missed 👍 As for the RC's, the electronics will need to be exposed to the air, best turned upside down with heat applied. The electronics can handle higher heat, like direct heat from a hot hair dryer. This may take a awhile, but it will evaporate and water that may have gotten into any sealed systems.

I learned not to hold a rc like that when spinning the tires it burtn the sh☆☆ out of my arm so I hold the truck with the chassis on my arm you have a lot more control and those back tires can't burn your arm
