You can use the left shifter to control the downshifting in addition to using the right shifter to go up and down, if you want that.

Great video. My hope is Wheeltop doesn’t raise the price like they did with their road shifters. The industry needs competition and it was always possible for the market leaders to make their systems adaptable to varying gear ranges, it just wasn’t as profitable. Looking forward to your long term review.

800mah is like 60h of intense use. It would be really good for the long races I have been participating. I am always bringing 2 axs batteries and my charger as 1 battery goes for only 20-22h of intense use.

This might be a dumb question. I've got an old 2x Cannondale synapse with rim brakes and 105 group set that's been sitting in the garage for years. Is there any reason I couldn't convert a bike with a setup like that to something like this? Also, what mtb version of this thing should I buy for the Ramblas if I decided to?

yeah it should work with the cable pull version for brakes. I was lookin at old docs on this and it will work for a 3-14 speed. For your Ramblas you would want this one. wheeltop.us/products/wheeltop-eds-ox

I love how, like everyone else, you don't review it as a 13 or 14 speed. You just throw it on a 12 speed cassette lol. You do know they make 13 and 14s cassettes right? I have helped to reviewed both 13 and 14 s systems with wheel top. I currently have a gravel bike running the rotor 13s 10/36 and I have a road bike running a tantan 14s 10/36 . Yes they do make 13 and 14s cassettes. Ztto is the cheap option for 13s. 14s requires a special hub and chain...
