Thanks for the troubleshooting at the end of the video. I had the exact same problem, with the ID.4 no longer connecting to the app.

I also had to reset my cars infotainment for the app to connect. But all is good for me. I also have a 2022 Pro S RWD.

I got the update. It installed successfully. But it still says software is at 3.1. ???

Cool video! I have an ID4 2021 and received the email but no update yet 😢. Hopefully soon! Btw any improvements since you got it? Last update that I got I had to go to the dealer to get it and it helped with range. I have more range now. 🎉🎉. Hopefully you can make a video on what’s new with 3.2 That be awesome to watch!!

For updates, charging and performance alone the Tesla is superior to anything out there.

VW has a terrible software experience. This might be why they are now partnering with Rivian. Hopefully this update will improve future updates which it sounds like is the plan. The VW ID.4 we own is nowhere near as good as the Hyundai Ioniq 5 we own. About the same price but the Ioniq 5 is a lot better in many...many ways.

I’m hoping that same thing. I’ve heard that they’ve improved the software quite a bit for MY 2024, so hopefully things are moving in the right direction. My folks have an Ioniq 5 and love it. Great car.

There are some channels that seem dedicated to hating their EV for some reason (I have the same one). They'll post more negative than positive, or even normal experiences.

Wow, that is totally lame. Please find a friend with a Tesla and "watch" one of those updates. ps, there is no "watching" because if you set it up right the Tesla will just update overnight at a time of your choosing and let you know in the morning that it was completed (usually in just a few minutes). This VW thing is just sad - pathetic, really.
