My husband did almost the same thing to our '99. He got 2 chrome dual tips from eBay and had a muffler shop remove the stock mufflers and install the dual tips that give the "4 tips" look. Yes. it's louder than stock, but not too droney. Sounds bad-ass too! REALLY barks!!!

My friend put the tips on my 2000 Z28 a bit crooked and I was able to correct it on that car with a floor jack and a few assorted pieces of wood. You really should get your exhaust tips straight. It didnt look too bad on the video, but if "you" can see it, then its noticable.Your car looks way to nice to have anything out of place.. Unless of course it doesnt bother you. It drove me nuts with my Camaro. It was really emphasized when parked on a slope/driveway, etc. Thanks for taking the time to demo the exhaust sound. Enjoy your car, it looks great.

Nice sound 👌. I have had so many cars with loud exhaust over time. Now I just want my C5 Corvette to have just small amount of sound as a daily. Stock is good for me sound wise. No cop knows when I put my foot to the floor...lol. Nice sound and looks good.

The right side 2 pipes aren’t in alignment with the two on the left they sit higher with the car sitting on the ground. What did they do tig weld those pipes together? Hope you could adjust them to be the same height. Strange being they did the job on a drive on lift. They should all be even. Add on: I wrote the above before viewing the complete video when I saw the difference. Didn’t know if you noticed it until you mentioned the same later in the Video. I still have the stock exhaust on both my C5 and C6. All I did was add 4 new Stainless Steel Tips to my C5’s stock exhaust to hide the ugly tips on that exhaust from the factory on my ‘99 Black Coupe ten years ago when I purchased the car. At least those 2 factory exhaust systems are aligned properly like they should be. You got a great looking C5. Still looks like new in the video. If I were you I would lay down under that car and try to pull down on those 2 right side pipes to try to persuade them to sit even with the other 2 or maybe bring the car back to the muffler shop and see if the can heat the pipes to maybe bring them down or the left side up to even them. I would try myself first. I had to persuade the 2 pipes on my Street Rod to even it up being I made the exhaust for it. Having a 2 post 9000 lb lift where the car hangs and not a drive up lift I had to come up with a way of doing exhaust properly. What I did was place 4-55gallon steel oil drums under each tire while the car was on the lift and set the car down on the drums while the lift still held the car for safety. That was the only way I could be at the correct ride height to do my adjustments. If there is a will there is a way.

Pewter is an awesome color as it changes depending on the light. I have a hatchback and an frc in that color and it's one of my favorite c5 colors.

Only problem is the bar between the exhaust tips. If you have to remove the exhaust to work on it. Either take both out at same time or cut it. Extra work. But nice sound. No complaints just was saying incase you have not thought about that yet.

B&B PRT system exhaust is the perfect blend of awesome sound above 2500 RPM and quiet noise canceling below 2500 RPMs . I have the PRT B&B exhaust on my C7 , it has an exotic sound !

My c6 is an 07 with 45000 miles on her. I absolutely love the car. If you can afford it, do it. 400 hp 400 tq isn't extremely fast but it is quick and nimble.

I have this exaust on my 2000 c5 FRC and yes their is a lot of drone. The cat back is the only mod to my system. Any time you are crusing at 1500 or 2000 rpm there is pretty bad drone. That said the crackles and pops when downshifting sound amazing. IMO this in not an exaust that is good for daily driving or crusing for more that 45min. Hang on to your stock exaust in case you dont like it.

Are you sure that is a real SLP system ? Most SLP outlets were round , not oval. SLP etches its name on the exhaust. Did you see that anywhere ? Could be a foreign imitation !
