Absolutely no fruits or vegetables. Start with beef, salt,water for about 3 months. Take very fatty cuts. Like very fatty ones. Your meat to fat ratio should be 1 to 1. Supplement with butter when there's not enough fat. After 3 months, introduce slowly, other meats, starting with ruminant meats. Keep eating fat.

Hello what ketogenic does mean?
@sexybrutale7671
@sexybrutale7671 3 ай бұрын
@@kenzoenzo5586 Kito diet means low carbs high fat (and quite amount of fiber too, of course). Just reduce your carbs gradually until you can adapt with keto diet better. Even complex carbs like whole grain bread, brown rice, organic oats and nuts will eventually turn into glucose in your body and raise insulin. You can still eat them but keeps the portion really small daily. Cut out the table sugar/simple sugar from your life as much as possible like soft drinks, fast foods, sweet cakes and white bread etc. not only they contain too much refined sugar and trans-fat, but they are also poor in nutrients and protein. Even fruits you cannot eat too much, for examples 6 mangos or 10 oranges per day, because they contain glucose and fructose. Sugar has two main factors: glucose and fructose. Although too much glucose is bad but all the cells in our body can still process it, but only the liver can process fructose, the same with alcohol that can be processed by the liver only. Therefore, excess fructose will cause liver damage and lead to fatty liver. There are healthy fats you could add in your meal like avocado, olive oil, egg, fatty fish like salmon, sardines, mackerel, herrings, anchovy etc. organic butter, sugar-free yogurt, real cheese (not processed American cheese used for army which is just a cheese byproduct), you can even eat a lot of meats and red meat in moderation too, because the total cholesterol is not really matter, as long as you know how it works, you just keep an eye on HDL cholesterol levels and LDL cholesterols levels. Recent studies show LDL is not originally a bad cholesterol, our own body produces it to help with a lot of things, they only become bad when they get damaged and then they shrink so small, so that when they become bad. Hence, when doing blood test for cholesterol levels, you should check for the sizes of LDL particles too (LDL-p). For veggie just consume only small amounts of starchy ones like potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, beans, chickpeas, winter squashes, lentils etc. and don't eat them daily like staples, especially when you are still insulin resistant (which means your insulin levels high). For broccoli or cauliflower they are not starchy, and leafy veggies are safe to consume. You can eat what you want when you are insulin sensitive and metabolic-balanced (that's why some people abuse this advantage to eat junk food excessively and then quickly be able to reverse the weight and jump to the conclusion that if they can do that so anyone should be able to do that too, if not then they are just lazy, but they don't know that everyone has different metabolism). On the other hand, when you are insulin resistant (you can do a blood test of your insulin levels and IR-HOMA to figure out whether you're insulin sensitive or insulin resistant), then you'd better to apply some specific diet and lifestyle change to reverse that, or else your metabolism is dysfunctional then you can have type 2 diabetes, obese, vascular disease or gout after 10-20-30 years later, and it happens not suddenly, but slowly affected by your eating habit and a lot of people are unaware of that, unfortunately. There is another important key factor beside the style of diet is intermittent fasting, which means reducing your eating time window to a specific restricted hours so that your insulin levels have more time to go down. Any other diet style can apply with intermittent fasting, and everyone has to figure out what suits for them most through trial and error. For more information, you can watch Dr. Eckberg's channel for suggestions (he's a chiropractor, a holistic doctor and a former Olympic athlete, not a medical doctor, but he has good knowledge about nutrients and some practical advice than some medical doctors out there, I know a lot of medical doctors are good and knowledgeable, but not all). You don't have to follow strict keto diet like he promotes, but a lot his videos could help you understand more about the mechanism about insulin, glucose, some amino acids and other important hormones functioning in our own body. I've learnt a lot from that channel for 3 years, and I still watch other channels to see if what he taught can really apply effectively. A lot of these knowledges still works so far and have helped me changing my lifestyle slowly and focusing better health too.

So for me the solution to avoid gout is to drink water. Every time I forget to drink fluids my big toe starts to get sore and warm. I drink a lot of water and gout be gone. I`m pretty much a carnivore, eat some cauliflower mash. This is the best gout vid I`v seen and I`v seen plenty. Thanks.

@@TheBlades345 Hi there, I didnt drink enuff water the twp times i had a gout attack. The first attack I got when I didnt take minerals and the second was during a dry fast for 24 h . Every now and then my toe gets sore and thats when I know I havnt had enuf water. It has been several yrs since my last attack. I havnt been on a strict carnivore diet all yr. It I could get the mrs on board it would be a lot easier:) I got some uric acid test strips and eating meat dose not raise uric acid for me. Beer and wine dose raise uric acid levels quite a bit. I should test fruits two as many say fructose is the worst for gout. Dont really like fruit so might skip that test:) Come October I will go on the lion diet for a few months. Doing carnivore just makes me feel really good. So for me drinking aqua and taking minerals has been the remedy for avoiding gout. I also dont drink booze a whole lot anymore. During the summer I might have a few beers when golfing and a sip of Islay Whisky now and then. I don t drink enuf to get drunk anymore which is weird as I ve been a heavy boozer most of my life. Take acre and greets from Finland:)

I did some online research and ended up doing the total opposite of what my doctor told me, did a bit of research and cut out stuff like processed foods, cereals, green vegetables, kale, spinach, chard, rhubarb. I started eating more meat and also took a black Cherry supplement. It went and has never returned. I’ve never had high uric acid, and I get tested every six months, but I have very bad flareups of gout about once a year. It’s in my knees, heels foot, but rarely in my toes. I’ve had it in my elbows, my fingers, even in my ears. The one thing I’ve learned in the last 20 years is that doctors don’t know what it causes it. If I go on a diet of so-called low pure foods, that’s when I have the worst episodes.

Yo Doctor...I've get gout once or twice a year for the last 5 years. I'm overweight, high blood sugar, fatty liver. I have the metabolic syndrome symptoms. I thing I usually eat that triggers it is a bowl of organ meat. Well, since I began experimenting on myself with the carnivore diet( red meat, eggs, and animal fat, no veggies) i haven't gotten gout yet. And I've try to get it based on my diet😂. I've had bowls and bowls of organ meat, and red meat almost every day for a months. And nothing, which is great news. Feeli good all around and I'm not dead. BP is good as well. Down 10lbs too.

What causes gout? Hyperuricemia. What causes hyperuricemia? 2 reasons. First is the kidney problem (not enough elimination from the body) and the second reason is the purine metabolism disorder. What causes the purine metabolism disorder? The lack of ensymes that controlls the purine metabolism. What causes the lack of those ensymes which is the main cause-the answer is MICROBIOME IN THE GUTS.

Hey, Doc, you spelled -pees- peas wrong. ; ) I've tried ice packs, no good! I find that a bucket of hot water almost too hot to stand works as I use to get it in the big toe and now it settles in my ankle. Dip in until you can't take it pull the foot out cool down a bit, then rinse and repeat. For me it works like magic to relieve the pain. I've also found that getting 100% *Tart* cherry juice mixed 50/50 with 100% cranberry (no added sugars) from a health food store helps a lot. Of course *if* I was smart I would drink 6oz of this a day to prevent all this pain.

Regarding GOUT: I watched both your videos on gout. The following is a document I wrote for a man with gout. I'm now 78 and still using Fennugreek or Methi seeds daily. I'd be interested if you've heard of that treatment or considered using it for patients like me. Incidentally, I was interested in your comments about the liver. I have some problems with my liver that are being monitored for the past few years. I have to wonder if there's a relationship between my liver issues and my gout. "I'd like to offer something that has saved me a lot of discomfort for almost two years; since April 2019. This is admittedly anecdotal information, I discussed with my family doctor. His response was "if I think it's helping, keep doing it". I don't drink alcohol nor do I smoke. I'm about 10 pounds overweight and 75 YOA. I'm active; fishing, kayaking, yard work and bicycling. I eat very little red meats, more chicken and occasional fish and sea food (I do live in Florida, after all). My gout usually presented in the ball of my foot. I was diagnosed in the late 80's while still on active duty with the USAF. I was in my early 40's. I was given Indocin and took it, as needed, for occasional flairs until about 1.5 (now almost 2) years ago; so 20 years or so. My current doctor recommended I take large doses of Naproxen instead of the Indocin. In short, he explained that Indocin was bad for me but the Naproxen wasn't quite as bad. That sure made me feel good. It did work, but I still had occasional flairs if I drank too much caffeine or ate too much fried food, the two things that caused me problems. I was having a flair, enough to cause a limp, about 4-5 times a year, and an occasional achy foot at least once a month. My uric acid was always a bit high. During a flair, I happened to see an East Indian acquaintance at his place of business (Indian Market and Restaurant). He asked about my limp and I explained. He told me about himself and his father's experience with chronic arthritis. His father, and he, used Methi (Fenugreek) seeds daily to control arthritis and said that the seeds were also effective to treat gout. I asked the obvious questions. I was somewhat familiar because my wife uses the seeds in Indian dishes. He said to eat a small amount (NFI) daily and I wouldn't have the problem. He told me to soak the seeds in water to soften them if I wished. When I returned home, I looked them up on-line and asked about them in two health-food stores. The information was positive...”it couldn't hurt!” For over a year (now over 4) I've taken a rounded 1/2 teaspoon of softened (soaked) Fenugreek seeds every day (pretty much) with other meds that old men take. I've had no real attacks of gout since. Seems like I may have had an ache or two right after I started, but nothing like I had before. I have a plastic dry container (sealed), I soak the seeds overnight and, then I pour the softened seeds and liquid into a glass, and put another amount (1/2 teaspoon) into a small glass bowl with water to soak for a day. I drink the liquid and the seeds. No bad taste and my blood tests haven't changed and uric acid is in normal range. I've passed this info to a number of gout sufferers. I don't know if the info is common knowledge, this side of India, that is, but I'm convinced! The seeds are cheap and available on-line and cheaper in Indian or Asian food stores. My doctor said he was going to research it, but never mentioned it again. I'd be interested if you've heard of it before". Michael S. Dameron, USAF, Retired

Take 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon Potassium Citrate powder in water once to twice per day and your gout will go away. It is an excellent supplement. Make sure you use the Citrate form. I buy Now brand and use it as a supplement on my ketogenic diet. Most people struggle to reach the 4000 - 4700 mg daily amount of potassium needed on a keto diet from just food. The citrate form is alkalizing and helps to neutralize uric acid crystals. It holds uric acid in solution (prevents it from crystalizing) giving your kidneys time to excrete it.
