Finally Fitting the Greddy V mount For the Mazda RX7!

Huge Shoutout to the guys over ‪@rallysportdirect‬ for hooking us up with a Greddy V mount kit for the Mazda Rx7! Getting this intercooler and radiator set up in it gets us that much closer to getting this thing running again for the first time in 10 Years! All we are waiting on now is the Ignition System, Intake Manifolds, and Catback and we are ready to Brap.

RX7 ain’t my cup of tea, but fascinated to see this build. Keep it up. I’m still just baffled how the engine *actually* makes compression and keeps it long-term. Those seals seem so… unreliable? Unfathomable? Just don’t see how you can stuff all that air in there and not blow the seals. I’m fully aware of Rob and the Mazdaspeed quad-rotor that won LeMans, but those are race cars, and not dailies for 10+ years. Interested to see how it all goes.

From what I've gathered, you gotta be okay with somewhat frequent rebuilds. (Not entirely sure on how frequently lol) Some wizardry going on inside that engine. It baffles me how a 1.3L engine can make 700+ HP 😅

Can attest to rallysport being the best, ordered an OEM style carbon fiber hood for my wrx, it took long and i sent an email and they responded with a tracking number for a concept west style carbon hood that was $112 more than the one i ordered; they didn’t charge me for the extra amount :)

What have you found to be more or less complex with a rotary vs. an EJ?

Rosaries need sealant EVERYWHERE overall I'd say a rotary is far easier to build than an EJ. Only really have to clearance a few things. No real machining needed on rosaries either
