The end goal is to have the e30 be a killer, I'll keep cleaning up the e36 and see if it's worth it for me to keep, It has surprised me a ton about how it cleaned up! I'm getting some parts alresdy for the e30! Thank you for the input!

Congrats on completing the swap! I finished mine a few weeks ago. I think you’ll make over 210whp as long as you’re running a full 3 inch exhaust setup. I did drag cartel drop in cams and ended up making 247 whp on the dyno. Could have been higher without power steering and if running E85. So it all depends on your setup. The 4.10 diff makes it feel so race plus 8200 redline and the thing just screams. Still working out some kinks but the car is an absolute blast.

Thanks man! 250 is actually probably pretty wild in the e30, I remember the 130 HP m42 was a blast! I'm really excited to actually be able to drive it, are you running it with hondata?

You’re going to love it. I agree the M42 is characteristically a really fun motor even with its low power. The car actually sounds great too, that was one of my biggest concerns, was worried about that Honda rasp. And Induction sound is incredible. Yes I’m running a Hondata Kpro4.

@@nasserkhaja4655 yeah Honda's really sound bad without a muffler, once you put a muffler on them they aren't bad! But yeah I'm excited for it especially because it will keep the same spirit of the e30! But that's fair! Just wanted to check🤟🏻 solid work on your build man!

Hey man love seeing the progress on all your vids. I also did a kswap and turbo. Im having an issue though. I got my harness from wiring specialties as well. Where did you plug in your plug labeled reverse? I assumed it was for the reverse light but mine is a different plug and with it unplugged my reverse light still works. Also did you have to do anything for your RPM gauge to work? All my other gauges work except my RPM one. car turns on but just trying to figure these few small things out before im ready for the dyno. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks for the kind words! The plug labeled reverse should be the reverse lights if I'm not mistaken, mine plugged into the sensor on the passenger side of my zf transmission. But two things might be messed up for the rpm, either you blew a fuse, it's fuse 21 or 22 or something, the second thing is in your link software you might need to turn on the rpm gauge, there should be a folder, I hope this helps

Daily the E36. I had a 95 M3 that was a sweet daily. Then race the two.

Congrats, a company called (innovative goods) sells a shift light that use the service lights on the dash its a cheap an effective tool for a track car. are you going to get a 8000 - 9000 rpm overlay and tach chip that allows it to rev that high? also do a brake booster delete with bigger master cylinder it will clear the intake housing and can get rid of the spongy feel at limit. I'm running Dbilas itb's, schmiedmann 4 to 1 headers, schrick cams, and a Maf conv from a hyundai accent 1.9 liter, straight piped with a evil energy resonator i honestly believe i can take you. not because you're not good @ what you do it because we're making close to the same horsepower and i can control my e318is like i can my hands or feet 200 lbs weight reduction and yes i still have backseats, carpets and sound proofing, just alot of carbon fiber

I will definitely be getting the dash overlay and will for sure be getting the bigger master cylinder, some things just weren't in the budget this year😊 but that sounds like a sweet build I'm sure it sounds really good with the itbs the m42 is honestly a bullet proof engine! But I definitely need a lot of practice with the car especially since it will be a bit quicker from stock!
