You should keep the grass around a lot of the pond a little high but only a strip about 6-12 inches wide that way it provides the fish w another source of protein which is bugs. You can mow it all way down in a couple spots to make fishing spots but keeping the gras a little high helps feed your bass and keep them healthy

Bentonite is fine clay powder. The mine is in benton. We used it to drill 12 foot wide by 30 foot deep holes in a stream to install 89000 lb concrete power poles in Florida. Works well. Also used polybore to seal the walls of the hole.

kinda late watching the video, but they make it in capsulated form, which allows it to sink to depth before expanding and forming a seal. get it is 5 gal pails (easier to apply to specific area pin point location) good luck maybe check with local well drilling company, easy to get in Maine but that doesn't help you in Texas, wishing you the best of luck

Have you fished Big lake in Downeast Maine. Monster smallmouth bass and not a lot of people. Would like to see you go to Northern Maine and do some fishing and camping. It holds a lot of beauty and some rugged outdoors. Lincoln ME has 13 lakes in the area!

The 2 ponds that i have fished with hybrid sunfish the bass have been stunted. I would suggest either removing the hybrids or see if the bass get stunted before you put too much money in fish.

You should take the camera and see if you can find the leak to apply directly. If thay much is leaking it will create a crack or hole or there will be no mud in a spot.
