@@p.k.5332 NMC is less stable at higher temperatures so that might cause some issues. LFP has more chargecycles (higher longevity) with compared to NMC.

it get confusing at the end of any range test video of an EV . I drove ZS EV from Dheradoon to Delhi during winter ( 290 KM) - car was charged 96% and i reached home and there was still 27% battery left... 70% main - 290 KM... ZS ev has 50 KWH battery - it means 35 KWH gave us 290 KM. ( 8 KM / KWH ) so a full charge can give you 400+ in ZS EV ... there was a role of regen as we were coming downhill and also No AC at all..Foggy Condition so max time 60-70 KMPH speed. so there are lot lot of factors... i want to name few ( traction, downhill, uphill, AC, NO AC, weight in car, Battery Health, fast charged or Slow charged... " Overall Driving a EV means Learning law of Physics " - NOW i have max figures from ZS EV i can estimate Range of Nexon EV ( weight - 1437-1531 KG) ( 10 & 8 KM/ KWH ) - Mid range Variant 30 KWh- 260- 300KM, Long Range 40KWH 320 - 370 and Punch ( weight - 1240 KG) ( 12 & 10 KM/ KWH ) - Mid range Variant 25 KWH 300-340 KM, Long Range 35 kwh - 350 400 , ZS ev ( weight - 1570-1610 KG) ( 8KM / KWH ) , punch is lightest and short length so it can give max mileage and ZS ev is the heaviest and longest would give less mileage if compare KM / KWH. thanks - i have estimated this analysis on basis of Dheradoon to Delhi winter time No Ac....

ZS and many others have chosen performance over power economy and hence little less mileage, plus ZS any many others are inherently heavier than Tata's smaller EVs. Maruti will make 200 Kgs lighter than Nexon and will fit Nexon equivalent battery and will claim more mileage. It is all physcis as you said.

An EV can never be your primary vehicle with 200ish KMs range. In emergency intercity travel, you will have to rely on rented cars which will eat up your savings of petrol. unless range is easy 500+ irrespective of modes, EVs are good secondary cars

No its called Lively mode... It's the one with maximum regenration and one pedal drive mode... For driving similar to other automatic cars with crawl on break release use D(Drive) mode
