When you get it dug out, pile all brush in the hole and then put the stump on top and light it off. If the stump don’t burn at least it will be lighter because the dirt will dry out and come off easier.

Why not just burn the brush over the stump? If you bake the ground you won't get sprouts and it will burn away the top foot or so of stump and roots. You can drive over to cut hay or mow. No need to dig up and rebury. Gets rid of brush too. No need to back fill....at least not as much

We screw split our stumps after digging out and then grind with our Fecon bullhog , what kind of thumb is that ? It looks different than our kx80 , thanks for the content
