@ just came back from a 60km ride up and down, so 120km in total, while going i kept the screen on, drainage was 45%, while coming back the drainage was 24% and i used the trick shown here.

This works for iPhone as well. Just use Guided Access and Voice Over… Use triple tap to turn off the screen and triple tap to turn on the screen

That's a question who's answer will be different for each person, it totally depends on the phone and the optimisation and the battery capacity it has, my phone with the screen on took 45% battery and using this trick it only took 24% while navigating on a 60km ride

@ good question, Absolutely no heating concerns since it just generates the usual heat you would get if navigating on phone but since the screen is off here, it doesn't overheat, i tested while on a ride of 200kms.

Shizuku is a Chinese app. So, please be careful as you'll be giving root access to this app.

Brother please watch the whole video and listen to what I have mentioned, Shizuku does not require root permissions nor it makes any changes to system, it simply runs a service with the help of wireless debugging to allow plugin apps like extinguish which is shown in the video, My phone itself is not rooted and yet it works flawlessly 😇.

oh, open shizuku and check if extinguish is listed in the authorised applications list, if it's not, authorise it and redo the process, this time when extinguish asks for permissions, please allow it

@@soumyadipdas3703 so thats an amoled phone, the steps are shown pretty clearly in the video, i am sure its a permission issue either with shizuku or extinguish, go to your phone settings, search for "display over other apps", check if extinguish is set to allowed
