Good theory on the Lambo door. I have a 20 year old Audi and the trunk doesn't latch in the winter for the past 6 years and that idea never occurred to me. Luckily it stays flat and closed while driving so I've never really cared. The driver's side door on a Lambo is a whole another problem, hope it's an easy fix for you.

Usually when doors don't latch on cooler days it's because of moisture in the mechanism. Just use a flat head and wd40 and wiggle it in, it'll solve the issue.

It's the door latch that has an issue, Ford has it too it's the plastic inside that expands and contracts due to temps, don't slam your door cause it will break it, from experience 😅
