@@mistamaog I'm in the same boat. I can afford it but it would be not the smartest financial decision lol. I did however to expect it to hold it's value slightly better than other cars like it because of the manual and limited production. Has Cadillac say d how long it will be in production? I expect it to go up in price as well if they produce it for a few years.

@@BPR-IronCurtain For me I wanted to start saving up for a house, but realize that cool manual cars won't be around for long. So I'm trying to decide what my next car should be now 😅, I'd want it to be this but I don't think I'll be able to have enough for it. I don't actually know if they said how long these will be in production. I'll have to look that up since these are amazing cars.

This is cool and all, but you know we're all waiting to see what its bigger brother, the CT5-V Blackwing, can do! It's about time they made a manual V8 Gen 6 Camaro that you can see out of and has a usable back seat & trunk. Here's to hoping they make an NA version of the CT5-V Blackwing.

@MCKlapwijk
@MCKlapwijk 3 жыл бұрын
@@bradyg499 Honestly it's what the CT5-V (non-Blackwing) should have been. They have all the hardware... also, why do they even keep this TT V6 alive? The 6.2 V8 is a gem, while most people agree that the TT V6 sounds like a vacuum cleaner. Nobody cares about the numbers or MPG in this segment. These cars are pure emotion and in that regard the V8 beats the TT V6 any day of the week.

@ 4:19 No they didn't put that little wheel shroud there for aerodynamic purposes. They put it there because DOT regulation does not permit a stock wheel/tire to stick out past the fender. So that little add-on is how they get away with a wider track without having to change the body shape to create wider fender flares.

@Allen Tokyokawa And why is that any of your business? Is it your money? That crappy Korean car fits my daily needs better than any other brand. It has the performance to match the m340i, V, AMG, and S. With the exception of tracking the car which I do not do. It has a ten year warranty, better reliability, and more standard features than most of its competitors. That Korean brand has been getting top or close to the top in initial quality. They have better pricing and without having to force me into an awkward looking wagon for cargo capacity. Sure it's a sportback, but it looks like the kind of car that I like to drive. So again name me the faults of the crappy Korean car. Actually don't, such short sitedness you'll just spew lies.

The Stinger fits my budget, while being more reliable and having more than enough cargo room.

I’m in my mid 30’s and want Cadillac to go back to making floating cars. Put a couch back in there, get rid of race seats. Honestly, I want a modern version of the 1991 Sedan DeVille I used to have. Torque down low, cruising on the highway. Auto reviewers looking for everything to handle like a race car has destroyed the luxury car market for those looking for a real comfortable car, not a comfortable version of a race car.

I like the concept. Cadillac is making a nice car. It is a decent looking vehicle and there is no argument that the performance is there. When we say it will "beat" the M3 in performance, I don't know if I will always believe that. They are comparably priced with comparable performance if you are comparing the RWD M3 (Non-Competition). If you're going with the M3 Competition xDrive, then the M3 gets considerably more expensive, but the performance enhancement of the AWD system puts the M3 into another league (0-60 in 3.0s and 1/4 mile in the mid 11's) above the Caddy. Depending on how much or how little you option out the M3 or Caddy, we can see overlapping price ranges; granted you can option out an M3 Comp xdrive up over $100k into CT5v territory. Aesthetics are subjective, but when it comes to styling and fit/finish, I think BMW takes the win. I can't get over Cadillac's styling. They've carried the same style for at least the last decade. Their cars always look boxy and chiseled whereas the BMW has more elegant lines while remaining aggressive.

@99-Zulu
@99-Zulu 3 жыл бұрын
@Neon Last I checked, most areas go by interior volume not exterior dimensions. The CT4 lines up well with the interior dimensions of the A3, A class/CLA, and the 2 series grand coupe. Just because those are front wheel drive based, doesn't mean that they do not compete with the CT4. It just means that Cadillac wanted better driving dynamics in this class. So they chose that over having the extra cargo capacity of the hatch or FWD platform. You are just trying to find fault in this comparison because it's something that you are not used to. The 1st and 2nd gen CTS was more of a competitor to the 3 series. The 3rd gen CTS was larger, because the ATS was a better competitor to the 3 series, C class, and A4. So the CTS competed against the 5 series, E class, and A6. So as a selling point to the Cadillac sedans. They market them as more car for the buck. Just like Genesis gives more standard features against their competitors. It's a selling point, it's something different. By your logic, some of the Audi's do not compete in their segments. Because they are FWD based. Also, do not put words into my mouth. I never said, thought or implied that the CT4 was a hatchback turned sedan. I do not know where this comment came from.

Sure, and a few will love it. However there are so many magnificent cars in this space you can't really go wrong. A Giulia QV, the new IS 500 F-Sport, many others----all awesome in their own way. How can GM make a car this beautiful while simultaneously making the Camaro so hideous?
@chrism3731
@chrism3731 3 жыл бұрын
Push the Camaro to a similar MSRP as this and you‘ll get a better design and more. It’s mostly fleet sales at this point so no need to spend money on a redesign.
@Otterplus

Because the Camaro buyer is meant to be driven towards a corvette instead. The Camaro has become a settler’s car

@@CMH_1975 The ZL1s are the only good looking ones. They completely butchered the rest of the lineup when they did the refresh. Sales numbers don't lie and most people won't touch a Camaro with a 10 foot pole right now. The ancient Challenger that hasn't changed much since 2008 is outselling it.

That V6 is actually a good sounded V6....Ford could learn a thing or two from Cadillac for their H.O. V6 EcoBoost motors, b/c those SOUND LIKE CRAP!!! This V6 in this Cadi sounds like a V8 with those pops.

I think it looks good. There’s something very quintessentially American about it’s styling that I just can’t quite put my finger on that makes me shy away from calling it great looking. It is a GM product though and I have never been a fan. I am familiar with Chevy and even GMC build quality and I have never been impressed. I am not as familiar with Cadillac but the shared components have also fueled my past reservations about their vehicles.

Beautiful and VERY capable car. Too bad people that have $$ to buy cars in this class are typically brand snobs and will pass on this gem. By the time Cadillac builds it's brand up more it will be too late; unless they make a sweet EV equivalent of this in future

Even though GM/Cadillac makes these claims, what about LONGEVITY. Cadillac is not renowned for QUALITY, LONGEVITY, and DURABILITY.

I What to know what high performance Sedan has Longevity and Durability?. BMWs & Mercs have horrible reliability.. and are know to be money pits. Most people lease them for this reason It's all about perception I would say GM is on par. They get a bad flack for their standard vehicles because they are domestic. Go to Germany and you will hear the opposite. American cars are better to them. It's all perception
