Caught the feels in that intro for a moment lol … so glad that you guys are back and I’m so happy that you two are able to show so much appreciation for your individual situations now, given the fact that you had such a great shared experience prior. Always truly enjoy your convos and btw I’m all for that $200 lamp

Love the message and growth from the both of you. Definately is a different feeling of independence and being on your own when you’re in your own space. I agree living in the moment and being older is a different form of gratitude for life, but it is great!

So nice to see you guys feel so liberated after moving into your own places. I guess sometimes I just feel like I should make the most of my youth and keep working as hard as I can giving no time or space to do other things like dating or going on a vacation. Seeing you guys take that step and listening to Jason talk about how it feels to just let yourself live in the moment, is so inspiring. I hope I can one day too, feel what you're feeling.

Being present in the moment requires that we take the time to appreciate where we are, what we're doing, and who we are with & try to savor each moment to the fullest as it passes! It can be challenging at times but we appreciate these life lessons that we are gleaning from u guys here at your New J Bro channel as both of you are moving into a new phase of your independence! Very soon, our New J Bro will become New J Men! Even then, we will continue to support & learn from you guys! 👍🥳😀😅😉👏🙏

😂❤ Put a big smile on my face when Jason knocked on the door. I was bracing myself for John’s take on living alone. (OK, I know there are benefits.) “Living in the moment” and recognizing that you’re fully present in your life at any given time, is, to my mind, an advanced level of maturity. I think you have to have some life history before you come to this. I like hearing that you’re there. Love you both … you’re really beautiful people.

That intro...lol. It's such a great feeling to be present with yourself and then reflect on how all your hustling brought you to having more choices in life. I completely understand what Jason is saying about finally being present in the moment. I've been doing my day job and my side hustle for the last 3 yrs, working 50+ hours a week. I know some ppl work 60, 70, etc hours a week, but I'm not going to compare....it's unhealthy. Over 50 hours a week for 3 yrs for me is enough. I quit my day job first week of Jan to do my side hustle for my full time job (expanded my practice). Now I can just be in the moment and enjoy whatever I'm doing without a million things racing in my head about what I need to do next...never having enough time for anything. The independence and freedom that you're experiencing is priceless. Definitely need to treat yourselves rather than thinking about investing 24/7. It's ok to give yourself some space to breathe and remind yourself that you deserve it!

This was a great one! My parents always used to tell me to “ ser presente” which literally means to be present in all that I do- academics, family and life in general. It definitely is hard to grasp but I’m definitely in a stage in life where I try to embrace that. Being in grad school can be draining and the only thing I feel present is work and school work, but I think trying to be present whether it be with my friends and the moments we share has been a great way to enjoy life.

This is relatable. I’m going through the same phase as you guys right now. I used to grind hard right after college with high work hours from a demanding job but another opportunity came and I moved to another state with more steady work hours. I’m using this time to focus on myself and enjoying being present and doing the things I enjoy again or for the first time (i.e. going to concerts, solo travels and etc). It’s a long learning process and growth but remember to continue to enjoy the moment and live a little. Life is short.

Haha I was worried you guys were gonna leave KZbin 😅. Glad to see a new video went up! As for living in the moment I understand a bit of what you mean. I’ve worked since I was 14 and went to school for 6yrs so I have my BS in biology and just passed my boards as an LVT. Throughout the entire time I never really cherished moments out with friends or living on my own in college and now that everyone is finally in work mode and creating families I’m realizing that I was so busy working and striving for what I wanted professionally that I didn’t experience my early 20’s because I didn’t think I’d lose them. But now I’m trying to cherish memories and enjoy everyday because time flies so fast so why not enjoy it! Also my friends went to Ezoo apparently it was amazing glad to see you enjoyed it! There’s always so many cool events in NYC and I’m definitely gonna try to go to them now that I’m finally done with school! 👍🏾😎

It is so liberating to live in the moment. I always had financial concerns or concerns about passing tests/licenses in the back of my mind at every event or holiday off I had; I'm always thinking, I should've done more or done this differently. Now that things are more settled, I can decompress and let myself relax and indulge in experiences like traveling and in the finer things in life ahem good food. AKA treat yo self! 😂 I'm forever subscribed to ya'll

Late for this but I totally can relate with you guys about the late bloomer thing. Im a lone ranger myself and kind of a nerd in my adolescent years and have somewhat of a low self esteem prob. Only in my early 30s Ive bloomed to learn more about myself, how to love myself more and try new things that Ive realized how much Ive been missing and become more appreciative to all this new experiences. Totally gonna be excited to see whats in store in the future for both of you.

I am now at the same age as Jason. Being in pandemic since 2020 has taught me so many things especially on living our best life. After I having a major heartbreak as well in 2020 i started to learning to be presence in the moment even if I am enjoying it alone. I never thought it could be the best feeling and I never thought i could actually make myself happy by myself. This year i decided to make more memories to myself and 1 of my plan is to travel and watch concert by myself. So lets make it happen! 🎉

Love this talk n cozy set up. happy for u both. I am a late bloomer too :) but still enjoying the present moments though my mum can't understand and pressures me to simply be 'normal' (working in a typical corporate for money at the expense of my mental heath.) Still, it was only in this period of doing 'nothing', daydreaming , and creating art, being happy, sad ,dramatic, taking it a day at a time, did I discovered/regained my life purpose. in other words, being content n present is valuing oneself & what makes u a 'success/unique' in your own eyes ABOVE societal opinions

Totally agree wih you J Bros!!! I would like to let you know that you guys are not the only "Late Bloomers" to all fun stuff...it is a matter of where one's priorities are set. I too used to feel FOMO about a lot of things..turns out my vision was/ is different from others. I second your opinion on living by yourself. Yes, it does make a lot of shifts in thinking, behavioral changes, and other environmental factors, etc. The funny thing is..since there is financial stability, one can or able to enjoy most "missed out" things in more intentional way. This video I especially like coz it is the ACTUAL representation of what I feel. Kudos to you guys! :)

Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now talks about being present in the moment, observing one' emotions and making it a habit to observe and understand our emotions, reactions, thoughts and behavior. I haven't finished that book because there's a lot to digest but Jason's brief talk reminded me of it. The practice of grounding yourself and not being trapped in thoughts takes time, kind of like meditation. Anyway, your place looks nice and the lamps look pretty!! 👏🌻
