Clearing the minefields with Boyz reminds me of the Gretchin rule from 3rd edition. You could move a Gretchin mob into a minefield marker and roll 3D6 for casualties. If you had that many grots, you removed them and the minefield.

Thanks. This animation is easy to made. I just zoom in, then zoom out on the Y-axis as the character changes pose, and ease in at the end.

The most expensive one? This would mean that I can only use one unit. Because there is a limit to having only one most expensive unit at a time. You're right, that would be really difficult, probably impossible.

free dawn of war 1 Ork strat: run ork armies in small fire-teams comprised of only as many orks as the squad has heavy weapon options (if they have none, like shoota boys, then run them at minimum size), give every squad their nob leader, and research all possible ork upgrades. Your army should consist of mostly shoota boyz with 1-3 slugga teams running burna's by 10 mins. Compliment this shooty blob (make your burna-sluggas go to ranged attack mode) with Flash Gits ASAP and run large reinforced gangs of tank bustas behind the meat wall. Compliment with vehicles to suit the nature of the threat your facing as needed. This army comp will obliterate anything; you have insane capture strength running large swarms of unreinforced squads, you're shockingly morale-resilient, your nobs keep your squishy 'squads' alive to get reinforced, and your just downright better than most other factions in a fight, genuinely. You will out shoot space marine heavy bolters by volume of fire. Many Dawn of War mods also boost orks by giving them ranged weapon upgrades on sluggas or shoota boyz. If a mod does this, laugh because that makes the Ork race completely overpowered. The key is the 'orky resource' that replaces your pop cap- this means you can run a huge number of squad entities without ever bothering to reinforce, allowing you to fully take advantage of nob squad leads and weapon upgrades. TL;DR you can absolutely do what this guy did but have an army comprised entirely of flamethrowers. Also, running orks like this makes them insanely good for micro. The skill ceiling for ork micro is completely nuts purely because you have so many more moving parts that can do different things. Final note, don't forget your weirdly one of the best defensive races in the game. Even if waaagh banners are getting expensive, building random boyz huts around to help rebuild armies and secure points isnt a terrible idea for their cheap price. If your really rolling with lots of money, piles-o-gunz aren't bad pseudo-turrrets either. A fully upgraded and densely built ork fort can rip apart any infantry force in this game. For this reason always upgrade your waagh banners to rokkit launchas if they are at your HQ.

Victory was assured. Save and reload when you want another 100 troops. My game crashed after 400 orks on screen. Sluggah Boys are fine, but I push out Nobs and forgo ranged attacks altogether. Swiggitity Swoo, orks coming for you!

I can't play anymore the DoW games w/o the camera mod. It's piss easy to install (drag files) and it's such an improve over vanilla camera (you are not always zoomed in).
