8000k is colour temperature towards blue spectrum, not good for visibility and will get scattered more and cause glare onto traffic. Best colour is 4300k and 5000k.

Great brightness 👍.. Low beam has cutoff also, will not effect opposite traffic. You should consider fitting another switch for High beam of projector. Remove connection from headlight High beam.

Also, the dealer is mentioning it as ballast which is the correct term, why call it blaster and propagate incorrect information ? Moreover, 8000kelvin tend to emit blue/purple light tones which are very disturbing. For God sake, these are Fog lamps which are supposed to be sit low with a lower colour temperature so the light can penetrate through fog and not bounce back. After market accessories business has become Monkey see Monkey do, no brains applied.

@@ArjunDharve fog lamps are ment to be yellow or normal.. having a total white or blue one is a mistake..the kelvin should not go more than 5500.. 5500k will emit a mixture of yellow and white which is comfortable for other riders.. in my opinion using this fog lamp with a normal halogen+dipper rather than a hid will be normal... the dipper shutter mode doesnot affect oncoming traffic rather it helps the driver as he too can see the road clearly.. trust me bro it rather helps the oncoming traffic if it is used properly.. but some fools will willingly use it on head mode.. i too love mods on cars however not with the sake of losing safety to oneself and others. i think using it responsibly will be a nice thing..

I think 8000K is colour temperature and not how bright the lights are glowing. And glowing power of light is measured in Lumens.(LM), if I am not wrong.

Absolutely correct. Temperature basically refers to the colour of light. The efficiency of the lights depends upon power consumption in watts in relation to the lumens per watt. HID bulbs of 55 watt will use more power because they have a blaster/ ballast where heat is lost. The best LED available in the market produce 306 lumens/ watt. The fog lamps in a standard road car use H27 halogen bulbs at 27 watts. They produce about 500 to 700 lumens per bulb So about 1000 to 1400 lumens at max. 55 watt HID bulb is producing nearly 5500 to 6600 lumens per bulb i.e around 10000 to 11000 lumens which is 10 times more than standard bulbs. If an oncoming truck/ bus or any other high speed vehicle cannot see due to him getting dazzled and hits your vehicle, By fitting something like that, You are ensuring that you will be a roasted chicken . This is a plain invitation to your heavenly abode purchased with your own money....

Kelvin is the colour of the light the bulb produce...less K the light looks red,sunrise etc ..more K the light turns blue...mid K it looks white,tube white etc...Less Kelvin consume more power in watts...more Kelvin consumes less power in watts..more lumens in a bulb means more brightness...so these are the roles Kelvin,watts and lumen plays in a bulb,projectors,led etc...

If you are having budget then go for IPH or any projectors with Only 3000k LED/HID bulb because single colour will give you better brightness. I am telling you this with my own experience as I have installed IPH projectors with Trio/3 colours LED bulb with 35 watts and 8000 Lumens of Genome company but not giving the desired output. One more thing don’t go for inbuilt projectors which will be not useful for longer periods. Try for projectors with non inbuilt one as you can switch things as per your preference.

Bro, ye projector high low hota hai i know, mene aaj lagwaya hai harrier mein, But normal low setting mein bhi both projectors are little different as if one is high and one is low, Matlab thodi door se neche baith ke dekhne pe pata lagta hai ki farak hai, Check yours please, Shop keeper said it comes like this only in high and low setting. Light balanced hai, thats no issue, andr se ni pata lagta ki farak hai, But bhar se directly dekhne pe fark hai.
