What shocked me yesterday was learning from Suga on Suchwita that JK had no singing experience either. I didn’t know that. I always just assumed since he tries out for a singing competition that he had some experience. He also had no dancing experience. When I think about it, BTS seems to have come together through Devine intervention. I mean, at the beginning there were 2 rappers with a little experience, 2 dancers with experience. One of the dancers became a phenomenal rapper and song writer. And the other dancer ended up being a gifted singer with a unique voice. The kind you hear and instantly know who it is. One of the vocalist also learned to rap really well. The other 2 rappers turned out to be genius song writers… then the singers… none had experience, yet they all ended up bringing something unique and gifted to the group. All improved their dancing skills to the point that three of them are on both the vocal and dance lines. And all of them ended up being song writers. Even the members that are not in an official line (tap, vocal , dance, visual) are good at everything. It’s too much to just be a fluke, IMO. It just amazes me when I think about it. 😊

Yoongi is my ULT BIAS in all of kpop. I relate to him SO much on so many levels and his lyrics are pure poetry. The way he talks about his anxiety, depression, and all the things he went to as a kid, I relate. Even his "grumpy grandpa" personality and his "old soul" is so much like me. Plus his RAPS, flows, lyrics, production are next level. His song "The Last" was what made him my bias.

I know how you feel dear. He's my ult bias in all of k-pop too. Yoongi is like...I can't find the right words. He's pretty much the reason why I'm still alive. I don't think I've ever related to an artist so much. I have so much in common with him it's honestly ridiculous in all the best ways. I love him with everything I have and I feel lucky to have him (and the other boys of course) in my life. He saved me when I was at my lowest

Some additional fun facts about Jin since it wasn’t mentioned in this video. Jin used to study in Australia as an exchange student when he was 15 years old. He got scouted by SM Entertainment at first as a middle schooler, he auditioned where he passed the first stage but didn’t go back for the second because he was too young at the time and afraid it was a scam. He attended Konkuk University (one of the hardest university to get into in South Korea) and he was studying acting. Later on he was scouted by Bighit because of his looks at the age of 18 when he was getting off a bus and was heading toward his university. He initially intended to become an actor and even after he auditioned for Bighit he still wanted to become an actor, I don’t remember exactly who said that but I think it was the staff at Bighit, Jin said that they kinda persuaded him and told him something like "look at how many idols become actors after they debut" and he went with it and trained very hard to become an idol but at the same time he had the idea that he’s gonna become an actor later on but obviously that did not happen but now he enjoys being a member of BTS and hopefully he gets to act after he comes back from the military if he wants to. He also has a black belt in Taekwondo along side Jungkook and Jimin.

Awww, yes BTS always makes us feel so many emotions! They are just so real, talented an humble. So in that one clip JK was crying while writing a letter to ARMY and his members comforted him. Yesterday he went live (it’s called Weverse now, no more Vlive) and he watched a video called Love Letters which is a song ARMY made for BTS this year for their 10th anniversary. How to meet other Army... buy some BTS T-shirts and wear them in public. I travel a lot, and wearing a BTS shirt, I've met other ARMY in Germany, France, UK, Dubai, Jordan, Saudia Arabia, Canada, and more. That's also how I met my local kpop friends (not all Army) and now I have comeback parties with 20-30 people. We also help with charity events locally. Army cries with BTS. They are amazing, aren't they? I'm a 69 year old who discovered these talented young men in 2015 with their song Dope. Something about them grabbed my attention, so I started looking up more. Here I am, 8 years later, so deep in this rabbit hole and I don't ever want to come out. I love all 7, but will say that Jimin is my bias and JHope is my wrecker. They are all such amazing, talented, funny and humble guys. If I could recommend some songs...Truth Untold, Hold Me Tight and House of Cards are some of favorite slower songs. Also Spring Day, but would recommend watching the explaination video by Italian Army afterward. Just have tissues ready for that one. Idol, Not Today, Danger, War of Harmone and Run BTS are my favorite hype songs. There's so much content out there, between music videos, dance practice videos, explaination videos for a lot of their songs, live performances, award shows (2019 MMA will blow your mind) crack videos, the list goes on for days. I also recommend The Most Beautiful life Goes On by Rice Squad which goes into them as a whole. Have fun getting to know them. They've helped keep this 69 year old lady feeling young!

Earlier this year RM was named the PR ambassador for the Korean Department of Defense. Jin is a beloved member of BTS. You’re right that the most attention goes to the 3 youngest members (Jimin, V, and Jungkook) and most likely it’s the older fans who appreciate the 4 oldest members. Jin was asked to audition on the streets first by SM entertainment and then BigHit. He had no singing or dancing skills and what he acquired was from sheer determination and hard work through these years. He was the underdog and I admire him the most. Jungkook was 13 years old when he joined BigHit and was 15 years old when he debuted. Up until 2023 when South Korea changed their age system to the international age system. Prior to it Koreans counted birth to be 1 year old and then the first new year after birth to be 2 years old. So by the time your actual birthday comes around you would be 3 years old. OMG 😳 I know! In the past they celebrated their anniversaries with different themes and writings letters to each other and writing letters to army. Each member would read out loud what they wrote and everyone would be crying. I once told a friend to not look at Jimin’s eyes because he was like a vampire and will mesmerize you. That was the effect he had in me! 😅

If you’re more of a rap fan I’d suggest RM- Joke, J-hope- More and Arson, Agust D- daechwita and Haegeum the rap line Ddaeng, UGH, and Cypher 1-4. I don't know what would hv happened to me if i haven't found them at that time, i was really going through a full blown mental depression and i couldn't even share it to anyone not even to my family but since the day i have found them they have brought nothing but light and joy in my life. I go to sleep everyday smiling and wake up with a new hope every single day. I still look back and dread the days i hv lived in that depressed state when i had no one who can make me smile. 💜💜💜I don't think i can even explain what they hv done for me, it's not just their music or performance but their whole personality and love that they share with each other which have such a deep influence on a person's mind. I think only some armies can understand these feelings, they mean so much to me that i consider them as close to me as family. And Jin, man do i own my life to him. That man had made me smile in my worse time, he had cured me of my depression brought a light and joy in my dark dark world and coloured it with a new hope. I became army because i saw him first and connected with him on a personal level. He hv a gift to make everyone around him happy. Although now i love all 7 of them and maybe i love jk a tiny bit more than the others but i would never forget what jin has done for me. He is my ultimate bias wrecker. 💜💜💜He is a pure soul. Love my bangtan boys. I own them a lot💜💜

Thank you for watching the guide, I hope it was helpful. Agust D has a trilogy you might enjoy which starts with Daechwita where you meet the two characters who are the same person. Next comes Haegeum which is a musical instrument but in the song it represents the freedom from forbidden and you meet the same two characters again, and the last is Amygdala which shows you how the two characters came about. Since you are a rap fan, you might enjoy Cyphers 1-4 and Joke among others from the rap line. The vocal line (Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook) also have phenomenal songs that you can listen to - when you are ready, we could suggest some. Perhaps if you have time you could delve into each members discography?

seeing you cry is really touchable i can totally relate bc i cried sooo much the first time i saw that video. I met bts in 2019, in that time i was passing trough so much pain in my life, i had so many problems with anxiety and eating disorders. Many armys say that bts come to your life when you are passing trough difficult moments and i can really confirm that, they and their music helped me so much, they are amazing humans and im just so glad and happy to know them so yeah :)

Aww. When I was new in the fandom (I still consider myself a Baby Army tho), an ARMY friend told me not to feel sad for not knowing them sooner and that they love us so much. I didn't understand it at that time because I felt like it was just normal for artists to love their fans. But... as I got deeper into them, I now understood what she meant.
