End result on the 7 is absolutely killer. I have to say Im kind of bummed about the Rywire situation, I have heard similar issues with other people, one or two things pinned incorrectly resulting in a ton of wasted time. With more management systems being adapted to cars Ive seen a handful of other wiring companies, not as big, also have issues with getting the wiring correct. Its not feasible for most but the only way Ive seen wiring done without issue is when the entire car is sent to a shop to have custom wiring done. Glad you were able to source it, its remotivated me to try again at making my own harness

From now on I’ll just make my own harnesses, figured I could save some time by getting this one. But the issues are annoying. Tbh r ignition harnesses could have 100% killed the engine as well if the problem was not caught too

2 rywire setup on my car. 1st was for plug and play ecu. The 2nd was setup for haltec with dbw. Both harness were perfect. Sounds like your harness is still set up for waste spark and not direct fire

I’ll check that when I’m in there today, I pulled continuity in the harness and leading 2 and trailing 1 are backwards from the data sheet that was provided. So I’ll get that sorted and I’ll verify today 🫡

Might not be a bad idea to clear vynle wrap the hood. Watched a kid take a hot wheel to a super nice car door. Everyone was shocked but the owner was actually really cool then had the kid help I’m him tear the old clear vinyl off and put a new one on on the spot at the car show. I thought it was a good idea haha

You can do a hood latch, but it's gonna be a bit of "arts and crafts" .... and I would still keep the Aerocatches installed. Same goes with the pop up headlight accesories.... arts n crafts

id wetsand and reclear that CF hood. most carbon hoods are notorious for the clears not being the best. also maybe add a spacer to the hood bolts could give you a little more clearance. some weather stripping on the front to close the gap a little. just some suggestions. mf is clean af

Had the carbon guys next door tell me the same thing, I’ll wet sand and get some clear on this thing 💪 there were a couple small defects in the finish so good time to correct that too 😅

And when they make pole vault poles out of carbon it’s the same thing fiberglass with some carbon weaved in otherwise it will crack and be to rigid if it’s all carbon. This allows it to flex without totally cracking

From what I understand and I’m not a carbon fiber expert lol, carbon can bend as well up to its limit (whatever that might be) before snapping. Would fiberglass not operate under the same properties?

doing carbon with the rest of it being fiber glass is really stupid and if you understand anything about the 2 materials is that they don't like each other. It being flammable is probably the polyester resin they are using. its all making the product as cheap as possible for the most amount of profit and tbh I think its dumb and lazy way of manufacturing parts. but ya small rant lol
