Hi Anthony, I am a Beverly Hills cop fan. Also, I fell asleep a couple nights ago trying to watch Beverly Hills cop 4. but I can surely say, without fail, Beverly Hills cop 1 is my favorite one. when I get a chance, I will have to start number 4 over again, and continue watching it, be safe out there, God bless you, and your family. My name is Terrell Simmons out of Southern California. I’m a Line-Haul a driver for ABF Freight, i’ve been watching your videos, for a couple of years now, keep up the good work.

Hey bro, I commented on one of your videos a year and a half/2 years ago that I was leaving the beer company for mclane food service. It's been pretty good out here for the most part, I definitely appreciate food service over beverage. Glad you're still at it and damn I wish I had a GFS near me, you make this shit look a little too easy though. Keep on hustling man.

I been driving for six years and I’ve only gone to Puerto Rico once. In general in my ten years of adult life. I haven’t done shit. It’s probably why I was so miserable with trucking. You definitely need to disconnect. Currently I just go to the beach any chance I get to disconnect. Life is about balance and if you don’t got it. Your life will be out of wack

Yep I work tommorow and Friday and I'm off for 9 days straight. And getting $56 an hour for vacation time. Sheesh, thats more than my routes pay! Man funny thing is gonna be getting used to the job again after so much time off. I found the last time I took vacation I was slow AF and had long days the first 2-3 days after coming back. Gotta slip seat tomorrow since my rigs going north to try and fix the power (acceleration) issues it's had lately, After so much time driving the Mack at reduced power it's going to be a weird day. I like the vibe I'm in at Sysco though. Plan on chillin here a bit.
@imanthonytv24 күн бұрын
You’re right. It’s definitely going to take a couple days to get back accustomed to doing the work after taking so much time off lol. I’ll worry about that when I get back 😂 Until then, it’s Sayonara to the grind and all things foodservice ✌🏾 Enjoy your vacation bro

Are the trailers messier now that they’re floor loaded? We’re still loaded on pallets here in NC.
@imanthonytv25 күн бұрын
Actually, it’s been a lot better than I thought. Initially, I was very skeptical about how a floor loaded 50 would be loaded. My loads have been good for the most part. Probably because they have more room to work with..

He bro.. I new to the propane delivery game. I deliver for blue rhino filling up the cages for Lowes, walgreens, family dollar and dollar general. The work is pretty strenuous overall but not too bad. I move atleast 700 tanks daily. I don't see to many videos on the type of work I do. What do you hear about propane tank delivery? I got my class A with tanker and hazmat. Eventually I use my hazmat for gas delivery or something like that. Any advice?? Been watching videos for a bit. You give good advice Enjoy your vacation

I got a question unrelated to the video. What is like taking a road test being new to trucking? I have an interview with Sysco on Wednesday. I got my CDL last month and haven’t been driving or anything since I passed. Worried that I’m not going to get hired on if I don’t do everything flawlessly. What all does the driving test consist of and how harshly do they judge if you are just getting into the industry? Grateful for any feedback, and stay safe out there🤝🏾
@imanthonytv19 күн бұрын
Companies basically want to make sure you can drive the truck. It’s typically just driving around the block or short distances. They will most likely have you back up as well. If you’re an experienced driver out of school, I’m sure they will judge you accordingly based on your experience level. Good luck 👍🏾
@coldbreeze3524 күн бұрын
Wazzam Ant, far as working at Gordon, when you are inside the truck gathering boxes and putting them on the dolly to take inside the location, how to know which boxes are for certain locations ? I’m interested in working for them after I receive my CDL
@imanthonytv24 күн бұрын
What up bro..Every case has a label with all of the customer info as well as item description. Cases also have the stop number on the label so every case is loaded in sequence or in order. The information is also in your scanner. If a label is missing then that case will show on your scanner as basically not scanned which lets you know what item to look for. Sometimes the item might be buried or not on the truck at all in which case you would issue a credit to that customer. It’s pretty simple.

Hi Anthony. I don’t know if you would read this or not but I need some guidance. I was a lead driver at a food company I had one accident and it caused me my job. I was on salary making good money. Anyways I have this new job completely different from food service. It’s a construction trucking job. I get payed 23an hour plus overtime but I really don’t like this job and I’m driving a class b Truck. It’s not the pay that I complain it’s more about the job. I love moving boxes and working hard. In this job I just sit in the truck all day. I really don’t like the new job I have. The only reason why I haven’t gone back to the food service game is because I’m worried I may get into another accident. I have an interview with Sysco on the 22nd of July. I’m pretty sure I’m not gonna have a set route which makes more likely to get into an accident. What should I do? Thank you!!!
@L0CC2o922 күн бұрын
If you like moving cases and being active then take the sysco job. Just take your time getting into stores when you arrive. Pre plan what to do by looking at Google image. Use goal and you should be good and comfortable again. It's a marathon not a race slinging them cases man. Good luck.

Hey man what do you usually pack for lunch? Just fruit? Or do you pack other things too? Trying to get ideas because I’m trying to go back to eating healthy but don’t really know healthy meals to pack that I won’t need to warm up
@imanthonytv24 күн бұрын
It varies with my lunch bro. Really comes down to whatever I have for dinner the night before. With that said, I also grab some mixed nuts & fruits to snack on throughout the day.
@reesiemula24 күн бұрын
@@imanthonytv ok so you usually just stop and warm your leftovers up? Running this 2 day route definitely different than a 1 day route I might need a bigger lunch box lol. I try not to spend money eating out at the hotel
@imanthonytv24 күн бұрын
Yes..I’m not sure if you work for GFS or not but we get per diem for hotel layovers so the company is technically paying for your meals.
@reesiemula24 күн бұрын
@@imanthonytv yep I just started last week came over from Sysco. My trainer actually told me that today he said it goes on our check. I was just going to save it instead of spend it though lol. But I should probably use it
@imanthonytv24 күн бұрын
@reesiemula Yeah, it’s like $45 per layover so basically $90 a week. I usually bring my own dinner so I rarely spend the money.

Your work seems easy. We fotta unload 4,000 fucking boxes for dollar treee dedicated axccout werner. The entire damn trailer is filled with boxes. what you do is a joke compared to what we have to do. Obviously though that is better situation what you have but .
@imanthonytv25 күн бұрын
I have a lot of respect for you guy’s and the DG driver’s doing dry van unloading the 53 footer..That’s a lot of work
@ronbrown861125 күн бұрын
@@imanthonytv I don't recommend getting into dollar tree or dollar general unless your physically capable and a good driver for sure. Otherwise it's a living hell. I think my next move is hazmat or maybe Sysco or even what you do. It's so greedy want they make dollar account drivers do. Werner pays 1.10 cents per mile and 260$ to unload the trailer so I can get 900 miles per week and three trailers so it's about 1800 -2200 per week pay but the swift drivers get payed slightly more I don't know why but. It's not enough for the work though unless you enjoy that I'm almost about ready to call it quits My back and knee is really getting fucked up . I wear a back brace and knee sleeve sometimes. I'm only 5 ft 6 155 lbs I'm just not cut out for it I guess . Been in it for 1.5 years so.
