Yes!! I’m a spawn Astarion girl myself, but I hated those terrified facial expressions, I felt like it really broke the immersion for all the bloodthirsty vampire brides out there. This just feels better

I know that spawn Astarion fans are much younger than AA fans and some of them got traumatized by the scenes so hard. But now you have an opportunity to recover yourself a bit and enjoy your Durge+Astarion kisses. Always happy to see my S!A fellas enjoying the game as well. ❤️🔥✨

(Some of them would have to take years in universe before he can get the benefits, but at least the dominance can be done pretty easily 👀)

Yes, they should depend on the role play, some characters will be terrified, but some not. How the most true evil maniac would be terrified? It’s Astarion terrified of Durk Urge for example.

I feel like dialog options should affect what facial expressions Tav has. Like if they’re glad they ascended Astarion, then Tav smiles during these scenes. But if they regretted their actions, then the shocked, fearful expressions. Seeing my character so scared really ruins it all for me

@@grymmoire I mean, they asked for a kiss. They didn’t ask to be told to kneel and have their face grabbed roughly. AA enjoyers should have a happy face to match their roleplay. And those who are role playing a regretful character should have the sad expressions. After all, plenty of the dialog in the game changes your facial expression based on what you answered, whether it’s cruel or worrisome or kind. Why can’t this situation be the same?

@@tokoyamifumikage9938 you can keep going back and asking for kisses until the end of the game though, and they would look terrified every single time. Is the regretful Tav/Durge just a glutton for punishment? Just use your words and tell him you don’t like him anymore, or break up with him. A facial expression during a conversation is different than in an intimate act. For me this crosses a boundary, if my char regrets sacrificing 7k people they are not going to suddenly realize how evil Astarion is during a kiss.

This is what I should look like when I choose AA or any partner tbh. I should be happy doing what I know and agree to in my relationship. This is part of the deal, he wants me to kneel and I want to comply. This doesn't mean that I'd do it IRL (okay, maybe) but it's the fact that it's two adults agreeing and we're happy about it.

The expressions really do make a world of difference for these kisses. I've given it some thought and I think I actually do like them for a more dominant Astarion. The problem was the frightened/upset expressions whoever animated the scenes forced on the players, specifically those who actually like Lord Astarion. It felt spiteful and the boasting from the spawn fans did not help. It's a shame it's only a mod. Might be the first one I get unless by some miracle the next patch fixes it.
