Hey man! Good to see another video of yours. I got my AW custom pistol now just like the one you made a video out of. The matchking love it man. Anyways I would not recommend mesh eye protection some people use cheap BBs and it could potentially break when it hits you goggles and littlw tiny pieces will definitely go in to your eyes i would not want to risk it. I would rather have the plastic as long as it came from an airsoft manufacturer like lancer tactical. I play a lot of indoor cqb now and speedqb I would highly recommend full face protection coz these guys (speedsofters) overshoot a lot. Lol. Anyways good videos my man keep it up thanks for the infos you sharr everytime.

Could a BB go through your eye and into your brain? Here's a somewhat scientific response: Short answer: It is highly, HIGHLY unlikely to happen but there is still a very small possibility it could. While our eyes are indeed soft and "squishy", they are made of several layers of different thicknesses and materials. The outermost layer, the Sclera, is quite thick and leathery, and while it is easy to puncture, it's also very resistant to tearing and is where the eye's rotatory muscles (rectus muscles) connect. Below the Sclera are the Choroid layer, which is filled with blood vessels that bring oxygen and other nutrients to the eye; and the Retina, which basically coverts the light it catches into electric signals for the brain to process. Inside the eyeball, as you mentioned, there is a liquid called Vitreous Humor which gives shape to the eye and keeps all the layers under pressure and attached to each other (in my opinion, the drag caused by that liquid alone would stop a BB; just think of what happens to bullets that are shot into water and how quickly they stop). Furthermore, should all the outer layers of the eye and the Vitreous Humor not be enough to halt a BB, it would still have to go through a layer of muscles and tendons, the Optic Nerve and the Orbital Plate, which is the thin bone behind your eyeball. SHOULD THE BB go through all that, the brain would still be protected by a thick, leathery tissue called the Dura, which envelops the whole organ. In conclusion; while it is technically possible, though very unlikely, for a BB to pierce through your eye and lodge itself into your frontal lobe, I think it is fair to say that the chances of that happening are negligible. But just in case, always wear eye protection not only when playing airsoft, but whenever you're using tools (like a dremel) that might flick something into your eyes at a reasonable speed.

I used to get the same issue as you but one trick i've found is when you antifog use it first thing while setting up (i use cressi antifog) and let it dry and buff clear i've found that to be most effective too many people just leave it on for 5 min and then wipe it off you need at least a good 30 min to do it properly i also run an exfog unit but since doing this i hardly use it but still useful to have as you know it will happen at the worst possible time lol also im running revison sawfly glasses mostly and revision locust goggles when field rules require them also delta mike face pro so much more comfortable than that mesh mask

Drill a really small hole in the bottom corners of the plastic glasses then zip tie it. You can also drill a hole in the top outside corner of the plastic for ventilation

Wearing glasses cuts out a lot of these options unfortunately. Ex-Fogs and Bolle X800's work a treat for me though.

Unfortunately, that probably wouldn't fly in the states. At least in all the areas around me, they require full seal. So mesh and open areas around the glasses are a no-go.

Revision do goggles and glasses that have tremendous eye pro. They do inserts so that shooters an use prescription lenses on separate insert that holds the prescription lens away from the face stopping the fogging. You do not need to have a special prescription, just plain lenses and still save your eyes. Worth looking into. I myself wear prescription lenses on the inserts in my Wolfspider goggles, and I can still see to shoot :)

That’s pretty much exactly what I done to the same goggles and it does work a hell of a lot better than standard ones. Been using it for about a year and they do the job. Only difference I did was file out all the little vents into one big one. Was planning to cut the rest off like you have done.

Try a padded lining, can stick it in with glue, that separates airflow from your mouth and nose from your eyes when wearing a mask. I struggle with fogging up like a mother as well. I don't wear masks whats so ever. But when wearing no mask and crouching low will my goggles fog up, weirdly enough.

Seriously mate have you never tried an Ex-fog? In airsoft terms for only £70 or so they are a bargain given the amount of bad games/walks stumble sback to safety zone because you cant see anything..Mount it on any sort of full mask/full seal goggles and you simply just wont mist ,even the cheaper £25-55 full face paintball masks don't mist with one installed.Absolutely hands down the best thing I bought for airsoft.I really cant believe how many very experienced players I encounter that are sitting in safe zone beside thousands of pounds worth of kit or packing car early because they cant see anything and think £70 is expensive.One I spoke to had spent £185 on a gun mounted torch and only played day games in woodland...........
