Kinda spoiler The other elf twin that didn’t survive was/is the elf soul in Yuno. Since he didnt have a life, he has been living through Yuno. He has the same likes and dislikes as Yuno and also sees Asta as a brother too. In my head human Yuno is Yuno Grinberryal and the elf soul is Yuno Silvamillion.

I don't understand those who defend William so much, it is really stupid to consider that William is free of guilt for just stepping aside in the fight, when he has been giving the advantage to Patry since long before. -Because of him Fuegoleon was left in coma, since he introduced himself first as William and Patry took advantage of his confusion. -He let Patry use his information as captain for her plan, things like the barrier of the kingdom, letting them kidnap mages from the kingdom, etc. -Let Raia impersonate him so he wouldn't get caught. -Deceiving Yami when he was suspicious of him, playing the victim with his story. -Using his position as captain to gather only people who were elves. -Sending Langris to get rid of Finral so that Yami could not go to help Julius. -Send Yami to his base so that he would be farther away so that he would not fly to help Julius. Even during the fight he gave him the advantage (whether he wanted to or not), since Julius couldn't really fight to avoid hurting William. It gave him the advantage of fighting in the capital which made Julius worry about the citizens and Patry using them as hostages with his last attack, etc etc etc etc. And he never did anything to make up for his mistakes, just save his order from Zenon but what a fucking minimum after using all of them. Sorry if there are some grammatical errors but I used the translator to help me.

But that's the thing. You can't be good to everyone. William was still good to others tho and he risked his life to his squad so you can't really blamed them if they also risked their lives for William. Those who can relate to Golden Dawn has the same sentiment or either they can relate to William's position who was force to choose given the circumstances. It was not justified but more on understanding the side.
