You can add more beds by walking inside your longhouse, open your build menu, navigate to furniture section, select thatch bed and place it in the floor of your building. You can easily have 6 beds per house.

I am also playing this game and im a litle further in the game now. Think about winter is coming so u need warm clothes. I did find this out in a bad way lol. U can put someone in the workshop and give him tasks to make tools and weapons for the workers and urself. The buiding have a tool storage . Beds for the cottage are under furniture. If u bake the grey mushrooms they are not poison enymore. Nice vid again.
