Finally working on my off grid cabin again! and then some...

At long last we headed back to my off grid cabin to get to work on completing the cement work on the back room entrance so that I can finally frame in a storm door to protect the back room and my solar power equipment and composting toilet.
We also take the time to clean out the grey water drain system I installed in my off grid cabin for typical wash water (grey water) and finally got in a little 'pew pew' actioni!

I have the same husky cement mixer and mixed thousands and thousands of pounds of concrete with it. I even mounted it to the bucket on a mini ex to mix/pour into sono tubes 4' above grade. I had the same issue at first with the bolt. I cleaned the threads with a tap, cleaned out the tapered shaft on the motor and drum. I also welded a 12in piece of round stock across the bolt. It dosnt come loose now until I want it to

I was thinking tapping would help but the round stock idea is also a good one!

Good morning guys . Nice job on setting your anchor bolts for the walls. And it's always great to have good buddies to be there when you need to help . . And I love that trick of laying the boards on top of the anchor bolts smacking the board and drilling the holes. can't go wrong with that trick. Can't wait to see the next video . @thearrowheadwoodsman3811 Hope it heals up fast!! My pistol is the old model Vaquero in 45 colt but built on a 44 Magnum frame so it can handle heavy loads and the 454 rifle shoots 45 colt so that makes life easy 😉 I love my cowboy guns 😀
