So grateful to have found your channel. 😊Thank you so much for having this channel. Im also first generation American from immigrant parents & I own a small business and am the “work horse” of it for past 18 years in my neighborhood. Although I own my condo, I too feel the concern and have observed the dwindling down of our community taking more ownership. I’m still unsure of what it will take to scale up, but I’m seeking for guidance and your channel is music to my ears. Thank you again!

Love you, Codie. Started my cleaning company at the age of 18 with $100 and a bucket. We’ve 600% grown the company and have 12 employees. Grateful for your voice and the ability we have to share information on platforms like this. Keep going girl

@@Kuuu44 lol! I mean I think we’ve just about scraped 6 buckets into shape. We increased 600% revenue within the 6 years total we’ve been going so far. The first year, we profited $100,000 and some change. At this point, we actually have 24 employees doing everything from janitorial, new build apartment make readies, restaurant chains and power washing/ window cleaning to cover external. It’s been fun!

1. Feel good about money - leads to taking action 2. Walk with sucessful people because unsuccessful people will pull you down. 3. Speak work smarter not harder. Skin in the game: Buy Boring Buisinesses that make money. Recession proof. Raise prices, most small buisinesses are underpriced by 3X, add technology. Earn, Learn and Invest instead of trying to invest, learn and earn. 4. master: Rich people speak in legally binding contracts related to ownership. How can I get this done? Quickly? How can I scale this? Go big or go home.

These are extremely useful rules for anyone looking to grow rich. Unfortunately, the majority of individuals that see this video will be unable to implement the ideas. We may not like to acknowledge it, but as Warren Buffett famously stated, investing is like any other profession: it takes a certain amount of knowledge. It's no surprise that some people are losing a lot of money during the bear market, while others are profiting by hundreds of thousands. I'm just not sure how they do it. I now have around $570k to invest in the market.

Start with SOMETHING. putting some action will bring you more clarity. It’s easy to stay in our heads, but we need to constantly check in with reality to advance. I have a small business and while I’m an expert in my field, I’ll tell you this : the lessons you’ll learn from making a business are unique. Go for it. Slowly or all in, you get to choose.

If you ask most persons: What is the vision of yourself in 10 years?...most of them might resemble what they are...at present. Being uncomfortable is what drives us to make the neceassary changes. The reality is that financial institutions' primary goal is to make a significant profit for their shareholders...so one has to change the conversation towards more equitable partnerships and outcomes.

Dave Ramsey says to save on everything, when on his "babystep 2" that is paying off consumer debt. He doesn't say you have to do that forever. After step 3 you can have Starbucks bux or whatever as line items in the budget. And in baby step 7 you are supposed to "live like no one else" meaning you enjoy the money you now have. It is not some eternal misery "never buy Starbucks".

I've long described a difference between poor and broke. Broke is a lack of money and can be fixed with money. Poor is an attitude about money that can never be fixed with money. Consider the number of professional athletes and musicians and lottery winners that go bankrupt. They stopped being broke for a while but never stopped being poor. The only way to stop being poor is to learn about money and change behaviors involving money.
