Both stocks and shares are the terms used often interchangeably. But there exist a subtle difference between them Stocks generally refers to the ownership in multiple companies while Shares usually refers to the unit of ownership in a specific company. I hope its clear. I admire the professors effort great way of teaching finance to students.

Thank you professor: My graduate degree is in finance and I really enjoyed the lecture, it is like a refresher course for me. I liked your explanation about double taxation and the fact that tax law changes around the world frequently, as a result, it does not make any sense spending a lot of time on double taxation. If anyone is interested in taxes, there is a course in taxation that can be taken.

Risk assessment is one of the most important term consiting the variable k in NPV as well the FV calculation of the entire tangibke assets as intangible assets are slso a prone more vulnerable hence meeting to be fixed.

May be one day, Inshallah, I will. I never hd to teach such a course. They simply don't want people to know how to manage their finances, so they prefer not to have such a course.
