As an active rescuer I know exactly what you guys are facing.... I live in rented place and foster stray animals ( injured or handicapped) And I have 6 furbabies at home... All the time I get negetive comments and literally my neighborhood calls me " kuttewali" in a taunting tone.... Lord Bhairava is an incarnation of Lord Shiva (Holy Diety of the Kedarnath Temple). Dogs are considered to be the Vaahan of Lord Bhairava, they are worshipped and decorated in bhairava temples. I don't know who is running Kedarnath temple committee, they don't have basic knowledge of hindu culture. I support you both and lovely Nawab.

It's called being a responsible pet owner. Temples at the end of the day have very little to do with God or religion. It's just a place we go to, to remind ourselves of the god who is present everywhere. One reason I'm proud of being a Hindu is that every thing and everyone is treated with respect in my religion. Dog is treated as a lower animal by some people but its the vahana(vehicle) of Lord Bhairava(Shiva). Fact ma'am people are heartless in my society too we are the only animals lovers rest all are against. we feed dogs n cats everyday n people keep cursing us.. We too hv a dog v too travel with him everywhere we took him to kashmir, leh, Shimla, udaipur, nathdwara, delhi everywhere everywhere.. You guys are grt v stand with you Luv u baby 🐕

Do these people know about Lord Shiva's Vahana ? Shiva, in his aspect as Bhairava, had a dog as a vahana. Sab cheez ka issue banana hai.

Such a sweet couple. Janwar k liye Pyaar sref politics k liye karta hain. Asal main koie animals ok na pyar karta hain na unko care karta hain, itne sare cows, dogs, cats vhuka, bimar ghum rehihe kisiko koie farak nehi padta, its our moral responsibality feed native/local animals. Same with birds, people has money they buy whatever animals they wants without researching, then just abuse and ignore them, never fulfilled their needs. I bought a cockatiel 2 weeks ago he was/is untamed, his previous owner dont have time for him, he was locked for 1.5yrs unattendend, then they decided to sell him, he was petrified, hate/scared of human hands and even his own species, now he is little bit relax, will tame him slowly. Trying my best to give him a better life.
