Great information that is rarely discussed (and even more rarely understood by many).

Indeed. Many shooters overlook the importance of skeletal alignment. 👍🏻

I've tried to work on this and I end up pointing a little to the left. In this video, you adjust his stance. I've been trying to change my grip to correct my sight alignment during this exercise. Am I approaching this wrong?

cause enemies always wait until you get all "lined up" on them, right? This should not be allowed in competition.or training. Make the contestants pivot 180 degrees, both to left and right as well as 90 degrees, both left and right. Get these gamers out of the matches.

TIMEOUT FOR A SECOND! The Natural Point of Aim (NPOA) is often misunderstood, particularly its practical application, although it's quite important. In a real-life self-defense scenario, you won't have the luxury of time to methodically build its components. The first shot will most likely be a flinch-style reaction, especially if an imminent threat surprises you from the side or behind, leaving you with very limited response time to properly orient your body. However, as your counterattack continues, even from a dynamic shooting platform such as shooting on the move, if the elements demonstrated in this video have been sufficiently trained to the point of becoming ingrained at a subconscious level, the brain will be able to correctly orient your pelvis and torso. This ensures that subsequent shots, likely fired in rapid succession, remain centered within an acceptable margin of error aimed at the threat. NPOA serves more as a biomechanical control mechanism to recenter the gun (addressing lateral dispersion) in longer strings of fire rather than guaranteeing the first accurate shot-although that is quite possible if there is sufficient response time. The only way to myelinate a skill to the point where it becomes subconscious is through slow, methodical repetitions initially, accompanied by a high level of focus and awareness, as explained. Through consistent practice and dedication, this will evolve into a proprioceptive skill that can be applied subconsciously at speed. ☝🏻
