That was fun to liaten to. Am also an INFJ and very much an introvert (not labelling, just finding my space in a quiet life)... Glad you moved down to the Cape. It's truly special. 5 years ago, I sold my home and business in beautiful Plett and left SA for Panama with 3 suitcases and my rescue dog (sadly, he since crossed the rainbow bridge). And here I am in a rural and (mostly) quiet area, alone 95% of the time (but for some very active dogs)!! Making friends has been very much a hit and miss thing, mostly miss, sadly!! But I can truly say that I have made so much effort.... have always been perceived as the Odd Ball, no less now. So, mostly content doing my own thing, in a new country, learning new customs and languages, etc. Quite a challenge for an Ou Vrou in her 70's!! Keep doing what you are doing. Takes courage and fortitude. Blessings. ❤

Helllooo Panama!! Certainly not an "Ou Vrou" if you packed up and moved all the way there! A new country, new culture, and new friends are quite daunting things to tackle, and I can believe that it is challenging to make friends in a different country. Keep me up to date, and wishing you lots of active dogs, lol, and peace amongst it all. Thank you for the kind words as well...

Friendships are wonderful connections… but book groups… the Book Club was too stressful for me 😅 And no, NEVER too late for artistic swimming or a pipe band 😂😂

never too late. My grandmother is 84 and still a pilot and is now joining a running group. NEVER TOO LATE.
