A writing getaway is a great idea. And yeah, writing consistently is important but there's definitely a balance to be struck between work and relaxation. Usually when I take time off from writing, it gives my brain a chance to process ideas, and I'm a lot more productive when I go back to writing.

Yes! It's always easier to think and expand on ideas or work through plot holes when I'm not working while exhausted
