I did the same thing. I went for a walk and asked all the same questions and started and read scripture everyday. I prayed on my knees. I cried for God to come be with me. And he revealed himself to me, the Holy Spirit. Things started to change for me. I felt joy and peace in my heart. It was like magic but it wasn't, it is God's spirit. He is real. His love is real ❤

I'm in the middle of my "difficult time" and I can completely understand this man' struggles. The irony of it all is that I know what needs to be done and I also know there's a loving Father because I can feel it at times. Perhaps this year 2021, I'd actually have the courage and the strenght to turn around completely and walk towards where the light is. Bless his heart for the reminder this morning.

For someone who just recently came back to church after being gone for a while and have gone through some addiction, this just touched my heart so deeply to know how God is so mindful of each one His children no matter how much they think they don't deserve love. God loves us when we do our best to follow Him, but so as in times that we distance ourselves from Him, that He loves us even more. God's love and the enabling power of the atonement are infinite.

In most religions they pray to God and in ours God is Heavenly Father we just call him that because he is our spiritual father and Jesus is our spiritual Brother. I had a similar experience and have learnt now, that God will find you, and pull you out of the darkest place. He loves us, His children. And often when we think He has abandoned us, it us who have drifted. He is always there, arms stretched out wide, to embrace. We just gotta walk into the embrace. There we find peace that we can't get from anywhere else.

As someone that once heeded a prompting like that truck driver to go to a parking lot to meet a total stranger that could have very likely committed suicide I can testify how true that is that God will loves everyone to send help when they need it the most.

Thank you for having the strength to share. It's so hard to open up about these struggles. I struggle with mental illness and have been in some very dark places but it was those dark places where I have had my most profound experiences with my Heavenly Father and my Savior, both of whom love me and you so tenderly. To those who are struggling in the darkness, don't be afraid to reach out and let people in to your world of hurt. Build your support system and always always always involve Christ. Let Him in. He will sit with you in the darkness for as long as it takes and then when you find strength to stand, He will help lift you up and walk you back to light.

I'm so sorry for your loss and that you struggle so much. I lost my mom too. It is Satan who wants to hold you at your lowest and he tells you such ugly lies to keep you there but yes, Jesus is ALWAYS there. Along with angels more numerous than we know. I think that if our eyes were opened to the spiritual realm around us, we would be shocked at how many on the other side of the veil are always with us to lift us up and help us in the fight, including your sweet momma. Don't give up. Don't let the adversary win in this battle. You are so loved.

You're mother is with you, watching over you. You have a mission here on earth. Work to find out what your mission is. Forgetting ourselves and helping others can be the greatest blessing to us. I have learned that for myself when I turn inward and focus on MY trials, but if I turn to others, I often see that their trials are much worse than mine and it makes me feel thankful that mine are not worse and helping others heals my heart. 😘💕
