I just wanted to share an encouraging word regarding how much I appreciate your transparency and your heart! You are making such a difference in the world !! I have recently gone through A very painful seven year break up. We were engaged for almost 2 years… I had to walk away because for the third time he wanted to bargain our relationship. Stating that I am his best friend and we have a wonderful special thing and he wants us to continue. He just did not want to make the commitment complete. My values just do not align with that so as much as I love him and as traumatically painful, this has been, I had to choose me. If someone does not love me enough to commit to me, I have to love myself enough to walk away. Watching your videos of your break were so pivotal in my own brokenness… Thank you for your transparency. As I rebuild now your videos continue to inspire me! You were young, but you are so wise… I am 52 so I don’t necessarily feel like I have a ton of time ahead of me, but I’m excited about the concept of finding joy and excitement and newness and being single and thriving! Big hugs! Oh, I also wanted to add your advice about writing down the things that we love about ourselves… I literally paused the video and I did that, when I was done, my soul was revived and inspired! I don't compare myself. I learned at the age of 5. Thanks for my dad. I'm working on myself right now and I hope I can help others more and better. People see me confident and badass and I didn't see it for a long time. I just do it naturally and somehow when people look up to me it feels stressful. Life is so short. I know everything I'm going through is to help others but first I have to be better and stronger. I know i will have bad days and tough times but I want to go through it and still inspire others to not quit. I agree, I write myself notes and on Facebook. So now it pops up. I would like to say that I found you through the break up video, the guy and I weren’t dating but we were messing around. I found he was someone that admired and someone that I never met in my life like he did. I fell in love with someone that I barely met. It sucked. I feel stupid but he was special.
